Mr Beatie, 34, who was born a woman but later had hormone treatment, was filmed leaving a hospital in Bend, Oregon, without the pregnancy bump that made him famous.
He was wearing sunglasses and had his face hidden behind a hooded top, having reportedly checked into the hospital under a fake name.
The birth was natural according to a source, who discounted earlier reports that Mr Beatie had planned to have a caesarean section.

"She's really cute, really pretty," the source told ABC News.
Mr Beatie told People magazine: "The only thing different about me is that I can't breastfeed my baby. But a lot of mothers don't."
Opinion has been sharply divided over Mr Beatie's claim to be a man, with some sceptics dismissing him as effectively a bearded lady.
He added: "The only thing different about me is that I can't breastfeed."
He was born a woman - Tracey Lagondino - but had his breasts surgically removed and began taking males hormones several years ago.
He legally changed his gender, grew a wispy beard and married a woman. However, he retained his reproductive sexual organs so he could one day get pregnant.
His wife, Nancy, with whom he runs a screenprinting business, had a hysterectomy some years earlier.
Mr Beatie sparked announced in March that he was pregnant. "I feel it's not a male or female desire to have a child," he later told Oprah Winfrey on US televsion.
"It's a human need. I'm a person and I have the right to have a biological child."
Before becoming pregnant, Mr Beatie stopped the testosterone injections he had been receiving for his sex change.
He and his wife bought donor vials from a cryogenic sperm bank and – following opposition from doctors – he was inseminated at home.
Doctors say Mr Beatie is not the first transgender man to give birth.
Writing in March, he said: "I will be my daughter's father and Nancy will be her mother. We will be a family." Mr Beatie has said he would consider having more children.
He has written of how doctors have discriminated against him, and family and friends have been unsupportive.
On the first occasion he was successfully inseminated, he ended up having a potentially fatal ectopic pregnancy with triplets. He lost all of them and a fallopian tube.
He recalled that when his brother found out, he said: "It's a good thing that happened. Who knows what kind of monster it would have been?"
