hello semua... sy plan mo tkr rim kereta myvi sya.... tp agak risau dgn 'offset'.... kurang fhm la dgn 'offset' ni... kpd otai sioloon, sila beri tnjk ajar.... klu ttg saiz rim tu x masalah... yg mslh offset ni.... takut kejadian lama berulang kembali masa pki kereta lama... dlu pki kereta lama tkr sport rim, kuat hentak ms lalu jln x rata.... ada org ckp 'offset' x ngam.... tp sy kurang fhm dgn 'offset' rim ni....

klu utk myvi brp 'offset' yg sesuai??? kpd pengguna2 myvi @ otai sioloon hrp dpt membantu... tq tq tq....

The offset of a wheel is the distance from its hub mounting surface to
the centerline of the wheel. The offset can be one of three types.

Zero
Offset
The hub mounting surface is even with the centerline of the
wheel.

Positive
The hub mounting surface is toward the front
or wheel side of the wheel. Positive offset wheels are generally found
on front wheel drive cars and newer rear drive cars.

Negative
The
hub mounting surface is toward the back or brake side of the wheels
centerline. "Deep dish" wheels are typically a negative offset.

If
the offset of the wheel is not correct for the car, the handling can be
adversely affected. When the width of the wheel changes, the offset
also changes numerically. If the offset were to stay the same while you
added width, the additional width would be split evenly between the
inside and outside.



15x6.5 Offset 35~40 is acceptable.

too much offset ... rims might
rub against the inner parts of the wheel arch.
too little offset ...
might rub against the outer fender.

bro..offset tuk myvi yg ngam tuk myvi 40 or 42..dlu aku pkai 17inci,lebar 7.5jj,offset 42..ptg spring lgi..x sangkut angkat org..then aku tukar rim baru 17inci juga,tp lebar 7.5jj n offset 38..sangkut gila..then aku grind tulang fender..skrg no hal angkat org..tp 3 org ja la..hehehe..hope blhh bantu ko..ni pengalaman aku la..hehehe

ohh offset 40 la ok... tp klu rim dia kecil skit macam 15 @ 16 inci, offset masi pki yg sm ka??? 1 lg, mn ko beli rim ko bro??? mn tau bole minta nasihat dr tauke rim tu.... tq...

tdi gua ada beli rim 16 punya off set nya 40...so..tayar saiz apa yang sesuai di gunakan?? coz mau pasang kat kereta waja gua ne bah...tlg la gua bgi pndapat...
