What is SQ?
There's
a misunderstanding that SQ(Sound Quality) is a system that can't play
loud. Stock system also can't play loud but that's far from a real SQ
system. So what is Sound Quality? SQ is that aspect of a sound system,
which
encompasses all of the performance factors which give the system the
ability to re-produce an accurate and life-like rendition of the
original recording as perfectly as possible. It includes factors such
as tonality, ambience, subtle nuance, system gain structure, dynamics,
transient response, and the list goes on and on. SQ is a combination of
all these technical factors as well as proper speaker placement and
proper system design. When a system is said to have perfect SQ, it
generates the most accurate sound possible, with a sense of musical
realism that gives the listener the impression that they "hear" a
live performance right in front of them, as if the listener was in the
audience watching the actual performers on an actual stage. Now, to get
this realistic musical "sound stage" in a car, it takes careful
system planning, speaker placement, and tuning.

Masa ko burn pastikan ko convert semua format to the same format....jgn bercampur2 to format....and pastikan semua kena ada gain yg sama....kalau nda nanti ada track yg kuat ada yg perlahan...tia syok dengar....lagi pun dia akan burn lebih cepat macam tu....berbanding tu nero mau convert lagi sebelum dia burn....ofcourse burn with the slowest possible speed...


btw...saya suka guna tu DSP yang come with the software to manipulate the data...it sounds much better....x kiralah macam mana korang guna mau rip mo exactly as the original...korang x akan dapat ori punya sounds lagi lepas rip.....kalau ori cd everything clear...bila kena rip...bass and treble tenggelam....to compensate with that loss just use those DSP...sy suka kasih normalized using Peak to Peak....tidak clipping and sound much better....dont carelah what those audiophile says....music is to be enjoyed....faithful reproduction of sounds? Well, how do you know how it should sounds like when u were not there when it is recorded? What is most important is that you enjoy what you are listening at.....

For me it sounds even better after u applied those DPS to the tracks before u burn it....anyway...original CD is much better than the ripped one....but u cant have all the best tracks in one cd...slalu cuma satu track ja yg syok...yg lain semua junks at best...

andrew/CK: kmu ada letak fuse ka untuk wire ke DC-DC +12V? taupun direct ikut +12V dari smbungan HU asal?patut ka tarik 1 wire asing direct from battry ke DC-DC?

hehe just deleted my post regarding faithful sound reproduction..will keep the knowledge for myself la hehe..

andrew, thats not the way how i understands faithful reproduction of music or sound..there will be no way to sound like the originals..but there is something that we can do to negate the individual arguements on how the music or sound should be...

the otai of the otai never told me n others how, but i got the idea myself then asked him..and yes im in the right path hehehe..

DSP 2 pa barang?software?

Hahaha....there will be lots of dos n dont when u want to talk and discuss about this....Im not going to waste my time on those....as long as I enjoy the music it does not matter to me if I distort the sounds from the original or not.....for me....as long as I enjoy it....that the way it is....

DSP = Digital Signal Processing....it a non-live effect...mean u change the original signal digitally to something that satisfied u....and it is not longger sounds as much as intended by the original production...hehehehe....

mksud c andrew ni efek yg macam 'loud' etc yg ntah apa2 lg dlm HU tu, tp yg c andrew pakai ni bukan yg "loud" lah .lupa udah namanya dlm hu ku ni.

DSP tuk sony walkman tau la..hehe dia tu macam sound retriever tuk loss high freq semasa lagu2 tu di compressed dlm sesuatu format macam mp3..so bunyinya lebih solid n tebal di high freq (dulu2 sblum ada kreta tu la teman tuk dgr sound sedap, itu pun walkman yg paling top end tuk mp3 hehe, tp skrg memang jauh btl ketinggalan la tu sound dari kreta punya)

ni aku punya setup imaginasi tuk yg main biasa2 kalau tdk main macam set skrg & kononnya tdk tau lg yg hi end punya barang @ jenama yg kurang org pakai/kurang di pasaran & tdk tau wujudnya pasaran 2nd hand macam ice hifi...hehe...cuma yg di tau mau sound sedap ja

hu at least pakai alpine ok sikit yg teda xover mungkin dlm rm700-rm800
speaker pakai alpine type r / JBL gto (rm700-rm800)
sub alpine type r / JBL GTO (rm600-rm700)
rca n kabel komfom yg macam trans or stealth saja (semua rm250)
amp apa2 la yg penting murah, mungkin jbl gt5 2ch n mono rm1700
suda test ada gegar2 baru minta sound proof yg paling murah hehe

fuh ni pun masih mahal lg huhuhu
memang tdk bleh go back suda ni
