What is SQ?
There's
a misunderstanding that SQ(Sound Quality) is a system that can't play
loud. Stock system also can't play loud but that's far from a real SQ
system. So what is Sound Quality? SQ is that aspect of a sound system,
which
encompasses all of the performance factors which give the system the
ability to re-produce an accurate and life-like rendition of the
original recording as perfectly as possible. It includes factors such
as tonality, ambience, subtle nuance, system gain structure, dynamics,
transient response, and the list goes on and on. SQ is a combination of
all these technical factors as well as proper speaker placement and
proper system design. When a system is said to have perfect SQ, it
generates the most accurate sound possible, with a sense of musical
realism that gives the listener the impression that they "hear" a
live performance right in front of them, as if the listener was in the
audience watching the actual performers on an actual stage. Now, to get
this realistic musical "sound stage" in a car, it takes careful
system planning, speaker placement, and tuning.

not so sure abt KRX selling price. but for 1.5k u can get better choice with 2nd hand stuffs if u get wat i mean. i still suggest u to get used K2P cos u haven't heard the real thing before, scared it might not suit ur taste. we are still learning, and 2nd hand stuffs gives us more flexibility in case we need to change/upgrade next time.

but nobody in icehifi selling k2p uv except zac (don't know if already sold and how much is it) and audio creation (new set with full warranty @ rm1550 )

saya baca review after review, all is positive feedback about this speaker (the cons is really not a cons, for example one reviewer give this speaker weakness by saying cannot fit into door because the magnet too big, have to customized doortrim, but cannot find any other fault), especially if you into fast music and have double bass kick.

hehe, u think warranty got use ka? u must be damn bad luck to use the warranty, see me and fina bought so many things but nothing is faulty, juz be careful when buying and onli buy from trusted seller. if u really wan the K2P from mike, i can't stop u la, but before u buy, ask from rbl84 for price quotation, he has a lot of focal in stock and he's from sarawak.

consider ok tu. dulu dlm 1700 - 1800. kalau aku 1550 masuk postage kira worth la utk new set. + 300. at least no headache for a year. ehehhee.. Up 2 u lo.. 1500 bole beli iridium. kuat juga 2 bass dia. napa xda orang mau recommend dia ni speaker? hehehee..

yup, saya faham tu warranty,electronic stuff usually got 1 year warranty, sebab kemungkinan benda itu rosak dalam satu tahun jarang berlaku..lepas 1 tahun tu nah barulah kau rasa hahaha, if you so unlucky.

imho, iridium not for rock la, more to hip hop type. nobelium and MS6A more to rock comparatively. but DLS in general not suitable for rock, there are other speakers will do better. Rainbow for example sounds very good for rock.

tu rbl84 a.k.a. robert actually is a ICE businessman. try asking him for recommendation under 1.5k be it new or used. if i'm not mistaken he has a set of RS Audio pro component for sale.

DLS super natural saja, tiada super neutral, hehe.

RS audio ni quite famous among SQ enthusiasts, i think it's quite a good choice if u can't find K2P. not to say which is better since both of them are also good. juz dat i'm afraid the RS pro is a very old item, itu saja yg merisaukan. wait for zac to reply and see how much he quoted for u first.

hehehe...no comment on personal preferences la...every 'good' speaker has its own pro n cons, they can sound almost the same with other speaker brands with a few tweaks as long as we play active..

i guess u go for focal for the price wise ....but for most rock/metal song, it has less bass in the recording except for modern rock..if u look into the natural character of the speaker more than tuning & tweaks, a bit softer sounding speaker would be good to tame ear piercing mids and highs in rock music, otherwise it would be too noisy n u'll start blaming the speaker later.

sbb org mau clear stock cepat2 ba. 1 thing i wan to make it clear is the tweeter issue dat fina said. it might sound sharp for u, since i dunno ur tolerance for treble, i can onli guess. but the midbass part i confirm sure will work for u.

well, i'm more on those underground song genre (heavy metal, death metal, etc etc) where use a lot of double paddle drum bass beat, guitar riffs, deadly fast bass guitar, abusing a lot of distortion (org kampung saya panggil itu barang wahwah)..but occasionally i listen to slow song also, just to balance out my inner self haha

then go for K2P to be safe la.

Waw K2P UV now cuma RM1500???? Thats 35% cheaper than wat it was before?????? Tahun lalu sa mo beli harga dia RM2300 ohh tu.....but well....anyway its already a discontinued product....apa pun it still perform as it should I think...cuma tweet dia saja ada banyak complain tajam.... sa pernah dengar mmg sa tia sukalah talampau tajam ni....tapi org bilang boleh tame.....guna EQ...tapi kalau HU tada EQ macam mana juga....ntah apa2lah maksud dorang tame pakai EQ tu....kalau cuma 5 band graphic EQ macam mana mau tame???? Read properly bro...i mention 5 bands graphic EQ there with Alpine CDA 9815 he is buying come into mind, if that thing even got an EQ... I dunno....well, never tried before....may be it is workable even with a fixed band 5 bands graphic EQ (since I din try it before so I cant see how can that be consider as extensive EQueing),.... and that will come at the price of RM1.5K on the part of Airpulse (which I assume will be his one time biggest investment on ICE).....anyway worst come to worst he can still enjoy the mid bass and buy a new tweet....

masa masuk form 5 lebih pd guitar oriented udah, malmsteen, dream theater...masa d univ upgrade lg, sonata arctica, stratovarius, symphony x, n n banyak instrumental guitar, eg vinnie moore, blues saraceno, marty friedman, paul gilbert...sampai skrg.

nanti kita sembang lama, metal is in my blood hehe..tu cd2 dlm kreta saja ja tu sbb bini nda dengar metal, tpaksa yg commercial sama tuk kc test org hehe
