What is SQ?
There's
a misunderstanding that SQ(Sound Quality) is a system that can't play
loud. Stock system also can't play loud but that's far from a real SQ
system. So what is Sound Quality? SQ is that aspect of a sound system,
which
encompasses all of the performance factors which give the system the
ability to re-produce an accurate and life-like rendition of the
original recording as perfectly as possible. It includes factors such
as tonality, ambient, subtle nuance, system gain structure, dynamics,
transient response, and the list goes on and on. SQ is a combination of
all these technical factors as well as proper speaker placement and
proper system design. When a system is said to have perfect SQ, it
generates the most accurate sound possible, with a sense of musical
realism that gives the listener the impression that they "hear" a
live performance right in front of them, as if the listener was in the
audience watching the actual performers on an actual stage. Now, to get
this realistic musical "sound stage" in a car, it takes careful
system planning, speaker placement, and tuning.

so uhm..kalau pakai passive boleh buat tu kan dgn 4 chn amp? 2 chn utk front stage, dan 2 chn lg bridged utk sub? cuma tahan hati jak lah kena kutuk..

ferris - memang kena kaji 2 manual la. kalau boleh memang syok oo..

hehe..yalah boi, anggap diri sendiri jaklah tak mampu mo main active setup hehehe (tidak mampu beli RCA dan mono haha)

adakh 5/6 channel amp atw monoblock..nda prnah tw ku nmpk..

monoblock tu 1ch sja bro.mono mksudnya 1.klau dua ch tdk la dipnggil monoblock suda.

amp 5/6 channel ada ba...bnyak tu d pasaran.cuma org jarang guna amp jenis ni.jadi klau mau cari used set pun susah la.unless brand new si boi guna 5ch tu klau tdk silap.

serious ba 4ch monoblock...hehe kali brand la tu. sbab dari 6ch - 2ch org panggil amplifier.1ch pn amplifier juga.cuma kbnyakan org pnggil monoblock sbab 1ch tu mono dn bukn stereo (2ch/kiri kanan) ada juga amp nama nya dual mono. macam genesis dual mono amplifier.

indatau mna c boi beli.itu amp JBL klau tdk silap.skrg d kereta da pkai 1 amp sja suda cukup.untuk 2way front system dn sub.bah join la ba TT kami nanti.buli juga share2 knowledge.dekat ja tu ranau p KK

10 inch, depth sub ni tidaklah tebal woo..so box dia pun tidaklah besar kan

bergntung dngn saiz box yg ko mo buat tu.ini sub tdk tau tpi c andrew tau CK prnah ckp dlu dont expect boom boom from this sub.macam sub scanspeak juga la.jadi klau ni sub dlm boot mungkin tdk brapa puas hati la.klau kena buat d bwah krusi tau dashbord puas la.hehe

boleh muat juga bawah kerusi ni subs

tu sub memang sq sub...ada juga shallow sub...tapi tidak pasti boleh muat under seat kah tidak

ini sub nipis ni.ada kreta yg boleh muat.tdk suma la...sbab klau kereta sa, amp pun tdk buli muat...hehe

ferris, juz concentrate on front first, sub belakang kira.i believe u wun die without bass kan? haha. remember next sat got year end SQ gathering oh.

org baru, tu sub phase kalau letak di bonet tidak efficient kan? memandangkan jenis nipis ni, samada mau mounting di dashboard, underseat, atau doorpanel (!!!)

nanti tidak kedengaran pula kan, mungkin sesetengah org asal ada bunyi low tu ok sudah, ada org mau rasa sikit getaran jiwa, jadi org no 2 ni tidak ngam dengan sub ni kan kalau letak di bonet..

non-sifu answer : 1. should be good, better than in active environment (depends more on equipment oredi), kalau active kena tune brabis boleh sama tahap sama passive ngan kelebihan staging + center image...

2..kalau tu HU bleh full pass tu x-over baru dpt main passive...mau passive selain mac, denon etc..pakai HU yg biasa ja macam cth..pioneer deh-p7150ub..tu pun 1k udah tu...tdk pun pakai DVD 2din lah...paling best DVD 2 din player sbb out of the box its passive, want to play active just add processor..cth iva-w502 + pxa h701..,
