What is SQ?
There's
a misunderstanding that SQ(Sound Quality) is a system that can't play
loud. Stock system also can't play loud but that's far from a real SQ
system. So what is Sound Quality? SQ is that aspect of a sound system,
which
encompasses all of the performance factors which give the system the
ability to re-produce an accurate and life-like rendition of the
original recording as perfectly as possible. It includes factors such
as tonality, ambient, subtle nuance, system gain structure, dynamics,
transient response, and the list goes on and on. SQ is a combination of
all these technical factors as well as proper speaker placement and
proper system design. When a system is said to have perfect SQ, it
generates the most accurate sound possible, with a sense of musical
realism that gives the listener the impression that they "hear" a
live performance right in front of them, as if the listener was in the
audience watching the actual performers on an actual stage. Now, to get
this realistic musical "sound stage" in a car, it takes careful
system planning, speaker placement, and tuning.

hoho, gila arr harga amp dia...hehe bah try ja nanti di rumah, ko punya basic tone pun suda sedap, nda kering bah..dapat staging mcm kita test di kretaku tu memang mantap udah ko punya sound for 2 way..nda dpt telawan udah tu..kecuali aku pun upgrade juga la hehe, then mau lawan balik ko terpaksa bli ODR udah tu hehehe.

ko order midbass kah final?ngam lah tu, pdahal ko punya midbass sama ja sama c boi punya kan,tp boi punya mantap plak bassnya..

boi, mcintosh la trus, beliur ba tengok dashnya smlm HU mac sama meter2 mcintosh lampu biru, hi-end feel,..mau tunggu fiberworknya siap dulu n mau dgr skali lagi, msti terasa mcm org kaya2 mendengar lagu di private listening room tu hehe..tp kalau tu system pasang dalam honda accord baru tu lg la klimax.




haha ada juga geng pakai scandinavia smlm..tp tuningnya di telingaku mcm nda ngam, ndatau la kalau kamu..

memeng cun semalam tt session...dapat dengar semi passive system...kena tunggu bila ada full pasive system untuk audotion

power: nada sa order midbass...nada duit suda...hehe ya mau pelan2 cari staging yg paling ngam.yg pnting mau redo dlu tu installation.itu mngkuk pn mau bikin balik pas tu baru try tuning.

passive ok tu...tapi mau sampai level kereta civic tu memang kena jual pantat beberapa tahun tu...ahaha

klau guna passive crossover yg biasa2 sja pn sama juga jadi biasa2 sja bunyi nya.hehe dulu msa sya mo beli2 brg dari AC untuk kasi complete system sya, passive system yg dorg suggest pn sama juga mhl dia tu dngn active setup dorg.

hehe...bah, tula yg penting tu tweeter punya position la final, bah bikin dulu...
wah ni smpai mau jual bonts ni tlampau la juga hahaha...passive or active ok juga bah..active sgt effect tone kalau nda btl2 gila meniun, rasa sedap udah kunun skali cek lagu lain hancur bah hehe..
passive just pasang n play ja, tp mau yg bagus ribu2 lemon juga tu geng.

it was a great TT. many had come. tidak tau la bila ada lagi TT mcm ni. most important everyone is happy.

tu navara aku rasa tak sedap la, tu org kaya saja bukan org yg betul minat main SQ. dia hanya mau 'upgrade' saja ba. bkan mau cari audio nirvana tu.

final, ko punya new crossover setting mcm mana? ada sedap sikit?

the navara setup dia memang ok...tapi tuning dia mungkin ikut dia punya taste...someone's meat mayb anothers poison...siok kah ck pegi jalan2?

setakat ini blum test dngar bnyak lagu lagi...tpi vocal and guitar memang bunyi clean la.tapi lagu rancak sikit high extntion mcm kurang.tdk apa, later mau retune lgi.hehe btw itu PEQ mana ada on tu...hehe kena off msa rudy n I try the TA.so I just let the PEQ off for the time being.mcm better dari on sbab itu untuk setting lama.

so high end drivers = high end setup

NOT plug and play..means
1. HU: RM5000
2. Amp: RM5000
3. Speakers: RM5000
4. sub amp: RM4000
5. Sub: RM3000
6. cables: RM2000

it wont work if ur setup is like dat..
u need to experience it and u shall know more..
dat is why sometimes u see high end gears for sale and written retired ice..

I dont quite understand u there...hehe so u mean using evrything high end makes the system harder to control?
nope..high end is good but will easily reveal 'flaw' in the system. plug N play is like wat i mention, buying premium hardware and juz install. too simple setup..
high-end is NOT simple system config.

ex:
you need to install mundorf headcap to all HU,proc,external preamp. 1unit to each hardware but 2 will be even better and optimum is 4 to each hardware.
(this is to improved ur power supply. act as a reservoir, lower output impedance, faster discharge and it also gives character to the music)
- greatly improved midrange presentation, thicker density on low freq to sub region, more texture on highs..

the above is just one of the example on how a premium setup looks like..
Yes it cost money..

next level is about power filtration..and etc..
there's more to it than juz amp,HU,speakers and etc... in order to achieve 'analog' real sounding feel.
hardware by itself regardless whether its premium or not will NOT sound good or you can say at NOT optimize at all.
this discussion on the above not seen on the forum..

thats is why we are specialized in selling 'music' NOT selling brands and hardware..the final listening results is the most critical.


currently m using 15W but the punch is not there.higher extention is quite ok edy.just need to b fine tune (still noob at fine tuning) my ears always fail me 71 tats y hopefully by using 18W the lower extntion improves a bit.
15W matches 2-way better. 18W is more for 3-way.
Why?
15W has a better freq response on the high mid region. less cone breakup.

No punch is due to the following:
1. weak preout from source
2. gain settings
3. needs 'EQ'ing
4. high output impedance from source
5. RCA and speaker cables not 'matching' or not right for car application
6. HP 15W not right
7. Sub not blending with midwoofer
8. phase issues
9. mid installation
* drivers vibrates and convert to heat energy..hence lows cancelled
10. dampening not sufficient at doors

Low extension
- to achieve low extension (and it depends on ur level of exposure to music) is NOT easily achieve..
too some people a bit of lows is oredy good enuf, but to reproduced 'live' analog lows extension, u need the following
1. right application RCA and speaker cables
2. lots of mundorf headcap in parallel
3. mids installation
4. HP slope on midwoofer.
*24 db will NOT do
5. sub is the most critical in terms of building the enclosure
( a RM1000+ sub will do the job nicely)
6. class AB monoblock needed (300-500RMS will do)
*class D mono and 2-ch bridged will NOT do
7. dampening on roof and floor cabin + rear boot
and etc..........
8. digital proc will NOT do. u need discrete analog circuit xover/preamp
* preferably modded as mostly OEM parts is not sufficient

a lot of factors come into play if ur serious about building a system.
like i said, plug N play simply will NOT do.
too many variables comes into play..

itu navara ok juga ba.tdk la teruk betul.masih boleh ckp sedap tu.wlaupun ada tebal bunyinya.

hehe...sq ni bukan plu n play memang betul...tapi kena ikut budget juga dan yg penting sound sedap pada telinga

hehe ya ada betulnya AC ckp tu...aku rasa mau instal gila2 dulu midbass ko tu, sbb tinggal tu ja blum di try..boi punya simple install tp tegap la..

hoho windu, tu bukan lg ikut taste tu..real audiophile needs 'real' sound..final tau udah tu...td aku dgr balik btl2 aku punya sound tdk 'real' suda hahah, baru retune x over balik..

ahaha...semua pun experience evolusi menjadi audiophile

tapi c boi punya installation better dari sya.wlaupun sya suda psang tu dynamat tpi placing mid tdk ngam.hehe lgipun myb sbab ruang dlm pintu sya dngn c boi berbeza.kira nasib sya ada malang skit la ni..hehe... mau letak simen dlm pintu la ni...haha
