What is SQ?
There's
a misunderstanding that SQ(Sound Quality) is a system that can't play
loud. Stock system also can't play loud but that's far from a real SQ
system. So what is Sound Quality? SQ is that aspect of a sound system,
which
encompasses all of the performance factors which give the system the
ability to re-produce an accurate and life-like rendition of the
original recording as perfectly as possible. It includes factors such
as tonality, ambient, subtle nuance, system gain structure, dynamics,
transient response, and the list goes on and on. SQ is a combination of
all these technical factors as well as proper speaker placement and
proper system design. When a system is said to have perfect SQ, it
generates the most accurate sound possible, with a sense of musical
realism that gives the listener the impression that they "hear" a
live performance right in front of them, as if the listener was in the
audience watching the actual performers on an actual stage. Now, to get
this realistic musical "sound stage" in a car, it takes careful
system planning, speaker placement, and tuning.

yala kn power...tapi fikir2 juga ba ni sbab lom buat door panel lgi.nanti mnatau lepas buat bunyi lebih accurate kn nyesal juga...hehe tpi itu 15W kecil ba.klau masih tdk puas hati nanti mau tukar mid susa mau adjust tu door panel owh.

mana la tau bole jadi 3 way.. 15w x 2. tapi player x support la pulak. hehehe..

finalazy...talampau juga ko antam cross ko punya sub tu macam tu tinggi....sa tau ko ni nda puas hati bunyi mid bass ko bah ni kan? kalau ko cross sub ko macam tu tinggi gerentilah bunyi bass datang dari belakang...ko try dulu kasih dpt the best mid bass sounds u can get from u 15w...before you on your sub....try2 dulu crossover turun naik...dari 80hz pg 100 hz....tukar2 slope and tukar2 polarity on your speaker till you get the best sounds your can get from your mid.....lepas tu ko try EQ....try2 80 hz, Q = 0.5 - 2 and gain ko turun naik sampai ko dpt yang terbaik...on band 1 and 400 hz on band 2., Q = 3 and gain turun naik...

Sa pernah jugalah dengar alpine MRV ni...tapi which MRV in particular nda ingat pula.....dia guna semua CHAP AYAM, wayar, rca, speaker soma cap ayam...untuk tahap talinga sa kira...okay jugalah....licin alus juga bunyi dia....kesimpulan dia sadap.....tapi tia taulah yg MRV ko tanya ni...since kawan ko punya napa ko tia audit ja dulu d kereta dia? Pasal harga rasanya nda sampai RM500lah tu.....sa cadangkan ko tawar dia kaw2 sampai RM300...hehehe....

thanx andrew...akan ku test...buat masa ni lom pula rsa bass d blakang even smpai 200hz. rsanya ni mono sya ada adjust crossover d sna.tu la masi kena cut...sya p experimen dlu...hehe

set your amp crossover on flat n play with the gain on your amp too

erm...tadi p tngok tu amp kn, ni profile sub mono kn ada HPF so either LPF or HPF dan teda normal/flat lgitu. so sya adjust LPF kasi 200hz d mono supaya lebih flexible adjust dari HU...ngam ka konsep tu?

kasih HPF lah....taruh tu dial dia pg yg paling rendah.....ada Bass Boos kah tu amp? sama dia ada boost frequencykah? Kalau ada kasih try main2 sama tu bass boost n boost freq....last2 sekali baru ko main tu PEQ....try to get the best tune from ur amp and crossover point 1st...

ko main2lah sama PEQ amp ko tu...or disable dulu...try2...but i suggest ko guna dulu PEQ amp ko tu...disable dulu EQ di HU ko....to PEQ di amp ko berfungsi sama macam bass boost and boost freq juga tu.....try boost mid bass freq around 80hz -250 hz....HPF mean high pass....maksud dia ko kasih lalu freq yang di atas point...contoh kalau HPF ko 50 mean ko kasih lepas semua Freq dari 50 ke atas.....kalau ko pakai LPF maksud dia ko kasih lepas Freq yang di bawah....so kalau LPF ko 50hz mean ko block semua yg di atas 50hz cuma kasih benar main di bawah 50hz saja.....since ko punya mid bass suppose to be playing from 80hz to 4 khz....so it just logical that u let pass the higher freq....n block the lower freq....your mid bas cant play them anyway...but depending on the slope you are using too....6db, 12db, 18 db...freq yg kena block tu masih kena main tapi kena attenuate.....

But remember scanspeak mid bass tidak akan making the snappy or attacking mid bass sounds....masih perlu buat enclosure baru ko dpt mid bass yang lebih bagus...

owh, ingat ko ckp psal sub tdi...hehe sya mksudkan sub ba. monoblock sya ada tu PEQ dan HPF dan LPF. actly mid punya amp pun ada crossover dan PEQ juga.tpi slope fix 12db/18db.tdk sure.susa ba mo adjust dari amp.sbab tdk buli sambil adjust smbil dngar macam tune d HU.amp d boot jdi ko paham2 la sngsara mo kluar masuk kreta...hehe
