What is SQ?

There's a misunderstanding that SQ(Sound Quality) is a system that can't play loud. Stock system also can't play loud but that's far from a real SQ system. So what is Sound Quality? SQ is that aspect of a sound system, which encompasses all of the performance factors which give the system the ability to re-produce an accurate and life-like rendition of the original recording as perfectly as possible. It includes factors such as tonality, ambience, subtle nuance, system gain structure, dynamics,transient response, and the list goes on and on.
SQ is a combination of all these technical factors as well as proper
speaker placement and proper system design. When a system is said to have perfect SQ, it generates the most accurate sound possible, with a sense of musical realism that gives the listener the impression that they "hear" a live performance right in front of them, as if the listener was in the audience watching the actual performers on an actual stage. Now, to get this realistic musical "sound stage" in a car, it takes careful system planning, speaker placement, and tuning.

ada geng yg pernah dengar sub arc audio kar series kah?
berapa panjang rca dari hu ke amp kalau amp tu pasang kat bawah seat depan?
kalau 1 4 channel amp + 1 mono tu rca dia mau 3 pasang kan?

wah murah juga tu W3. used ka?klau new, cam mnakutkan klau g2 murah...taupun penghabisan stock, refurbish?taupun underwater (no tax) cuba make sure dlu la.

3 psg RCA, ukuran tu, ko buli test2 ukur ba tu. 2M kali cukup.

----> RM250 - RM350 yang chikai2 punya...bungkus pakai vinyl biasa....di mana2 pun ada buat...asal kedai ICE...tapi biasanya ko x akan puas hati dengan apa yg dorang buat...x ikut specs or ikut apa yg ko minta...dorang hentam ja,, dorang x tanya pun apa kereta ko or apa speaker ko......kena cari kedai yg bagus...try kawan c Power di papar tu...macam pro juga tu org....or paling bagus minta c Final tlg ko buat....

EDIT : ohh ko ckp sub pulakan..ingatkan amp...ada org ckp tu sub IDQ yg buat untuk arc....tapi customized supaya lebih kuat dari IDQ....so ko ada IDQ punya SQ and SPL tapi dgn xtra SPL...tu sa terbaca d internetlah....hehehe...kalau IDQ mmg review dia d internet terutama DIYMA melatioplah.....

siapa authorized dealer jl audio kat malaysia. coz i remember there were stickers on the box. price dia macam rm7++ kat c****r s***d. tu la mau dapat pendapat sifu2 sq kat sioloon

HEhehehe...tu tempat.......check butul2 tu ja nasihat sa....nah pening sudah ko....kar series ni setau sa amp dorang....sebab tu bila ko ckp kar tadi sa terus terfikir amp....yg arc audio punya sub sa tia tau pula....lagi pun tia pernah dengar....cuma pernah terbaca ja....so dari segi knowledge sama saja kita ni...soma pun google punya pengetahuan ja...sifu power sama taaron sajalah arapan ni dorang involved 1st hand dgn pakar2....

Biasanya kalau ko google tu barang tada keluar....hehehe....sa bagi ko contoh...ko pg kedai ada jual pioneer HU sebiji nampak macam ori...sekali ko google tu model dia tada keluar....hehehe...ko taulah kan apa sebab dia....

BTW ko check AC dorang dealer JL juga tu...

AC jual 1.2 K dulu sa beli...huhu

yg kar series dalam website arc audio memang ada. ada foose design punya sub juga dari arc audio. dia org colaboration.

baru saja tanya AC. yg idq sudah jual.

kat forum lowyat AC jual RM 1.1k tapi belum tambah shipping lagi. tu la cari cari sub kat kk.

tanya dia org pasal tweeter pod utk xt25, dia org cakap sudah kasi phase out. tu lah mau tanya pasal custom a pillar.

Windu: last time saw that JL W3 at c****r s***d too..the price is quite low last time, something fishy...bout the arc audio sub, no i didn't listen it b4..should be good, as i think certain model is a rebrand of IDQ sub, not sure if the term rebrand is appropriate or not..haha..there's some1 selling used W6 for bout 900 somewhere ard the forums, cant recall which forum and it is quite recent too..go for it

aku ndatau lah sub2 yg mahal2 ni, yg ku tau coucar, ameron, mohawk ja lol...paling murah sony, tp sdap juga bunyinya. jgn main2 sony tu ada dia punya barang high end especially home audio, bukan yg home theater yg slalu di jual di kdai2 letrik tu, tu kira low end udah tu hehe..btw kalau kamu terjumpa amp sony japan, sama underseat sub sony japan bgtau aku arr...dulu slalu jumpa, skrg tiada pula..component sony xplod japan sedap owh, bleh lawan lain2 speaker mid-end yg branded yg pakai tweeter format kecil..nuff said

windu: yes, part of my plan..looking for W6 or scans 23W..i'm also thinking of getting a 2nd car in future, which the W6 will be most suitable..for my myvi now, rear boot too small, W6 cant be performed to the best as the sub box will be small..scans 23w shud be alrite on my small myvi..

btw, are your ICE equipments now complete besides the sub? any other things not yet fill up the chain? faster pasang lo, we want to listen to your car

still haven't get sub, cap & cables (rca, speaker, power)

lil piece of opinion from a 'setahun jagung' sq kaki, if u want louder sub, make sure u play passive (dosent mean u have to use mcintosh hu only)..playing active meant for "ngam2 sound" or true reproduction of music as is which i oso still 'pening2' how produce that perfect balance of tone & image..please dont say "its up to someones' preferences la" coz the reasoning is not valid & unacceptable n rugi coz u dot get full potential of ur w6..true active sq just need 150w -200w rms sub to fullfill the need of that missing low bass from the midbass (just like ur studio grade headphone sound)...staging+tonality+badass bass? u'll never satisfied with active HU,but u can try if u insist.....

sharing info:-
play some orchestral choir track (if u notice the left side of the image is significantly louder, then ur ta has a problem... or play some helicopter track (if u xperience the rotor sound significantly coming from the midbass which dragging ur sound below, then ur xover has a pprob) to see whether ur tuning is right or still need to retune..
