What is SQ?

There's a misunderstanding that SQ(Sound Quality) is a system that can't play loud. Stock system also can't play loud but that's far from a real SQ system. So what is Sound Quality? SQ is that aspect of a sound system, which encompasses all of the performance factors which give the system the ability to re-produce an accurate and life-like rendition of the original recording as perfectly as possible. It includes factors such as tonality, ambience, subtle nuance, system gain structure, dynamics,transient response, and the list goes on and on.
SQ is a combination of all these technical factors as well as proper
speaker placement and proper system design. When a system is said to have perfect SQ, it generates the most accurate sound possible, with a sense of musical realism that gives the listener the impression that they "hear" a live performance right in front of them, as if the listener was in the audience watching the actual performers on an actual stage. Now, to get this realistic musical "sound stage" in a car, it takes careful system planning, speaker placement, and tuning.

Baru sampai rumah, haha great tt, tp mau cek balik esok tuning, nda puas hati pula komen bright, kalau bleh tune skrg mau ja ku buat haha, nasib ja tgh mlm..esok mau pkai rta tuk dpt basic flat , nda pun biar jala gitu, sbb aku dgr ok ja

hehe masing2 punya preference ba tu.ta pyah la risau.tp skrg ko ada bnyak jumper suda.boleh try2.

Huhu mau cari balik depth, width, phase linkage, balance btwn LR (td ko ada ckp l r ada beza bunyi,sbnrnya memang btl, slope yg buat jadi lain)dari x over yg ngam macam td tp ngan tonality yg lebih friendly..tu yg susah tu huhu, ndapa bangun pagi truz tune

your system sounds fine to me, maybe i'm used to bright sound..not a major prob as we have our own pref..

about my setup, i heard common thoughts from some of you that my setup is on the brighter side..no issues with me as I have settled down with my tuning pref and I'm comfortable with listening to it everyday, no listening fatigue..

btw, not in time to listen derek's and zenden's car curious with the sound

taaron: there's alway next time would like to hear your thoughts on my setup up too...but need to fine tune a bit now that basically Ck & derrek did the inially tunning..Totally satisfied with that ,just need some personal touch. did i audit your car last night? which one was ur car a?

Final: jgn kasi lama tu 3way..ur 2 way setup was very nice kalau ikut telingga cabok sy la..liked it very much no issues for me.. kalau 3way lg la kali

Power: the simplicity of ur setup and the sound really impressed me alot..never been a fan of custom setup but u prove it that provided with the right tunning it can be as good as a active setup..Honestly i think ur setup has a lot of potential that you urself is still in the process of unlocking..would like to hear it again some other time

Thanks for everyone's advice, smtimes our perception of sound may misleading oso after get used to certain tonality...ala tdk smpt mau audit sound ko taaron.

Zenden: ni tgh tune2 balik ni suda ada xtra jumper hehe..antam2 pkai rta sama tu sine wave, bleh cover suda sikit kekosongan di 250-500hz tuk 2 way, tp ntahla ni, macam ada elemen yg hilang..mau test dulu 2-3 hari dgr lagu2 tester..hehe jgn ko gitu bah, ni system ayam2 mana la ok sgt..bleh ba kita minum2 lg smbil dgr2 sound, bleh juga bg pndapat n kita tune lg tu passive sampai ngam..

taaron: ok i thought it might be you...as i said your only issue is that sub ..everything else is fine ..my opinion only ..as you said bright or warm is a matter of prefrnce..personally it just nice for my liking..as with Final setup ..

Haha, Whats the most important to me is the phase linkage, depth n width till u can hear the clear midrange snare 'pang' sound..i'll try to look for another tuning combo with the same thing as above but less bright? Hehe hope can hune that way..hard to get clean, fat midrange sound in 2 way as derek said my sound has 'no body'..i think its either no body or muddy only..maybe its time for 3 way huhu...
