CCFL ring kamuorg bleh cari di lowyat.net atau di zth... member aku dlm tengah buat projek lampu saga iswara masuk headlam cifero yg ada tiga lampu tu.. dan nak letak 4 ccfl & masuk/modified kat saga iswara.. tunggu hasilnya..

OK yg nie aku dah buat. tuka cermin tingkap sisi. CROMAX coklat dari jepun.. heheh tapi ni member aku yg post.. dia baru tuka cermin cromax gak.. cuma masa aku tuka dulu aku x ambik gambar..
takes around 1 hour +/-. preferably 2 man power to speed things up. :")


first u need...
greasy hands, a + and - screw drivers or those interchangeble ones are the best. plus some diy know hows n some bravery...:"p


having a AK47 (READ: Silicone Gun) or something similiar might be handy... loads of patients n wacky antics helps ease the whole process too~

next, u need to take our the door panels... typically a door panel have 4 screws...

1 in the front wif cover, hidden when closed.

one at the coin holder, one at the open door thingy and lastly at the back of the door panel. also hidden when door is closed... put all the screws into the door pocket so u wont loose it..learnt it from my ecotints days..

to take the panel out, we fully lowers the windows to ease things out.


dont forget to take out the switches to on power window models. reconnect it for later steps..

this is basically how the panel-less door shud look like. those platic2 thingy covering the door are sound proofing stuff. fixed them during my ice days.


next u need to take out the glass. theres 2 screws holding them from the window bracket. from the fully down position, raised the window just enuff to see the screw placements. Fazly already taken the first screw when the picture is taken


loosen them up...

now, with 2 people, CAREFULLY take the glass out from the nearest of the window sill FIRST. one person to hold the upper portion of the glass, another to hold from the glass holder. again, take out the tallest portion off the glass first. this seriously ease things up. trust us, thers a lot of TnE (READ: arguements n buat pandais) while doing this...haha.

notice the 2 palstic screw holders, carefully take them out from the old glass to be used to the new glass. those white thingys are the screw holders.


next, snap those screw holders to the new glass. make sure the holes in facing iinside of the curved glass..again, practise caution whenever handling glass materials..


another view for the correct placements of the holders n to avoid another TnE session...

put aside ur old glass. notice the 2 holes below ? those are where ur screw holder used to resides...


again wif TWO people, Reversed the way u take out the glass to put in the new glass. this means, CAREFULLY insert the smallest or shortest portion (which way u understand is cool) of the glass FIRST instead. by using this method, the largest or tallest portion of the glass glides in automatically n easily to the window sills/ guide. another TnE triumph..

to check on the glass was insert correctly, tightened 1 screw to the screw holder n freeplays(READ: press up n down) the power window to see for smoothness of the glass movement.


tightens both the screws when everything flows smoothly

put back the door panels n walla.... new glass~


now repeat the same direction for the opposite..
