| I'm new here. i nak tanya tentang 4AG. Jika nak turbocharge dengan 20 valves, mana yang lebih baik? silver atau black? Dan, boleh guna piston 4AGZE tuk lower compression kah? Saiz ngam tau tidak? |

| tak silap, saiz blok sama, piston supercharger adalah piston low compression dgn seramik coated, mmg tiada masalah kalau masuk blok 4AG Enjin Blacktop mmg mantap |

| boleh sy share experience cni pasal turbocharging a 20valver 4ag? ok...20v ada dua jenis kan kita semua da tau..tapi 2 siri engine ini agak berbeza..perbezaan di cni bukan pasal horsepower yg ia hasil kan tapi ketahanan engine tersebut jika di"turbocharge"kan...silvertop terdapat 2 generasi nya...generasi ni dapat dibezakan dari throttle linkage nya...1st generation SVT 2 linkage yg hanya menghasil hp 145 sebenarnya daripada 160hp yg diperkatakan dlm spec...and 2nd genarasi 1 linkage yg menghasil kan 155hp daripada 160hp dan mempunyai sistem ecu yg diperbarui daripada 1st generasi SVT..slightly more power and torque gain...kenapa blacktop mamtap..ok..blacktop has lightened internals including its crackshaft, flywheel, pistons, factory port polish head, camshaft and improved ecu system..as well as MAP sensored as its main manifold control in sucking all the juicy air into the combustion chambers.as we all know the MAP sensor when in terms of function when it sucks it will nvr stops..decresed voltage signal to the ECU to comprensate absolute pressure in the intake manifold .thats why can open throttle .guys lets see the diffrent in block design..this is very critical ok...if both of you observe clearly the ribs on the block on each 20valver 4AG...actually the svt is the one suit for the turbocharging mechanism...7 ribs on the block..and actually a strengthened 4AGZE block! able to withstand a massive 350hp system! the BT has 6 ribs and the designed a little alter suit for it ligthened internals...for my opinion,,as experience with Bill Sherwood hehe...the SVT is the engine if turbocharging or supercharging system is apply:) see around in the web too...there is a monster supercharge 20v svt and turbo charge svt which eats vtec for breakfast..... |

| and for piston..pop in the 4aGZE piston into the 20v svt block...fit just like a d**k in the V****a.....no problem... |

| A very good explaination from colvinae101, just imagine the 16V 4AG turbo spec with AR70 as a booster, with a full spec of stage 3 modification, such power is fitted to a Toyota KE-70, then come this car with the same spec as mention above but with Black top, but with stronger long saft, i think it will easily outrun the 16V or maybe 3SGTE... fuh!! Dang....!!! |

| y not try a hybrid engine still with the 4AG series? NA which can broke the foot of the turbo charge 4AG ... my toy now with my dad is the hybrid 4 ag hi-compression head system AKA plug sorok head..with the bottom and block from SVT..y the hell i go for SVT? this is my personal selection...love SVT....even though blacktop has 5 hp more but the SVT block is more rigid and stronger compared ligthened BT block but this two block still cast iron block the last of its kind cos now toyota more using aluminium block for it performance engine replacing the 4ag iron block ..the 2zzge vvtli ...it didnt mind for me...how much horsepwer is not the matter but how efficient the engine will become is more important for me..last year project was to fit into ke70 a block from 20v SVT and head from the AE92 hi comp ..married happily with 4 throttle intake from svt...a little wiring setup and fuel controller piggyback from apexi..it runs fine..fix apexi neo in it which able to calculate Hp calcualte producing a hefty 162HP guys!!! standard parts inside.! but now its already mature with toda parts into with toms tecs ecu...result 203hp....rev 8700rpm with 18.3kg-ib of torque NA only..can kill torbocharge 4AG with minimal workout:) |
