The Sagem MY 600X mobile phone is the latest phone announced by Sagem as recent as September last month. The phone is scheduled to release somewhere in the first or second quarter of 2007. The phone weighs around 99grams and measures close to 110 x 48 x 16 mm. The Sagem MY 600X mobile phone has a 256k color TFT screen with a display resolution of 176 x 220 pixles.

The Sagem MY 600X mobile phone has a miniSD card slot for your data, and it can take memory cards upto 1GB in size. To add to that it has about 16mb of internal shared memory. The phone has GPRS and 3G capabilities. These data connectivity features can be used well with the WAP / xHTML browser which the phone offers. The Sagem MY 600X mobile phone has a standard VGA resolution camera, not that impressive I must say.

The battery life of the Sagem MY 600X mobile phone is close to 4 hours talktime and 400+ hours of standby. The Sagem MY 600X mobile phone does not offer a wide range of extra facilities, just a simple music player which can play Mp3/AAC files along with Java MIDP 2.0 compatibility. The phone has Bluetooth and a Usb port for quick data transfer between the phone and your computer.

This phone has been around a few months at this stage but if your thinking of buying one from Meteor you should be able to pick one up for under €90 with some call credit. Things to watch out for are the diminutive internal memory, 0.3-megapixel camera and poor-quality screen, which will frustrate you.
