- FYI, installing an OCT and engine breather can keep the intake manifold

and throttle body clean in long term. This is particularly impostant for

the Wira 1.3/1.5, Satria GTi with a Siemens-VDO ECU, which uses a

contaminant sensitive throttle body.


I personally recommend to install one. DIY constructing one will be much

cheaper.


This is my modified cusco-look-alike OCT, intercepting the PCV hose. A

breather is also installed, terminating the connection to the intake hose.

- Oil catch tank (OCT) is recommended to use when N/a car have problem of
engine eat oil. For track car is a must to install. This OCT will catch
the oil vapour in blow by gas (gas that pass through piston ring into
crank housing and this gas will be take out by PCV valve to trottle
body connected by a hose called PCV hose). If u ur engine eat oil, then
those oil will ended up at ur trottle body and sludge will build up ur
trottle body. Effiency of trottle body will decrease.....

Got this info from the other forum, most of the forumner prefer to DIY theirself for making an OCT, so... the conclusion, it doesn't matter either you want to buy a branded one or campalang one, as long as the OCT works with no leak. Maybe the branded looks nicer because of the brand value, for me, better get a campalang one, as long as the OCT works, it was good enough for me.

oil catch tank ni saya rasa lebih sesuai dgn enjin yg berturbo....sebab enjin lebih byk minyak berlebihan keluar balik ke manifol apabila kita tarik tarik....minyak ini akan buat tb jd kotor...

setahu saya, kancil 660 850 standard pun mesti mahu pasang breather atau oct, sebab itu minyak naik terus kena filter, hitam terus tu filter haha

kalu turbo kene pakai jg???setau aku..kalu turbo ni TB sentiasa clean coz masa ko tarik injector ko da tembak minyak utk clean kan TB...kalu ko p workshop mtk diorag cucui TB pun diorg tmbak mnyak kat TB ni...

maksud minyak bukan minyak petrol....enjin oil bah....

ini brg saya pun ada pakai...tp mcm lum ada pa2 berubahan dlm tangki ni.....pernah saya nampak kat invader pasang...3 ari sudah penuh tangkinya....huhu....sya rasa keta diesel lebih sesuai ni benda,.....hehe...

they just use bekas botol oren campur! last time i saw this in one of the drag car in miri this year! using botol oren campur, nanti aku check mana tau ada gambar nya

senang saja bro, cuba cari hose yang connect dari engine valve cover tu intake. buang itu hose, pakai stopper getah sumbat itu intake sana, kemudian beli air breather (air filter yang kecil tu) sambung pada engine valve cover.
