pada suatu hari Mak Bedah sedang memasak lauk untuk makan malam. Masa tengah masak tu baru dia perasan serai dah habis. Baik nasib suaminya ada kat kebun belakang rumah tengah bersihkan semak samun. Lalu mak bedah menyuruh anaknya
si atan yang berusia 4 tahun meminta serai beberapa batang dari bapanya. Dengan penuh semangat membantu emak, atan pun terus berlari tak pakai selipar jumpa ayahnya kat kebun.

Atan: "Abah! Abah! mama mintak cerai, mama nak asak"

Abah: "Apa pasal pulak mama engkau buang tebiat petang ni, tak ada ribut, tak ada topan nak mintak cerai, lepas tu nak bergasak pulak....salah ke aku berkebun nih, tak faham aku orang pompuan.
