So twin charger, lets discuss
If you still dont know how twin charger, look the picture below.
Twincharger is suitable to use on race, even drifting. below is the video of twin charger.
In simple word~ Use of twincharger: Twin charger is to produce more air flow and it is also to elimate the lag of turbo. supercharger run on lower to mid rpm, while turbo run on mid and higher rpm.
How it work? Supercharger will provide air first, after the turbo reach the operating speed, the turbocharger will function, and supercharger either it continue contribute power or either disconect after turbocharger function.
So supercharger and turbocharge have advantage and disadvantage. We all know twincharge have advantage, how bout disadvantage? yes twin charger have disadvantage too. the twin charger disavantage is higher fuel consumption, produce more heat, and more exhaust flow which is dangerous to enviroment. However, small engine use twincharger will be better, the fuel consumption is lower compare to large engine.

FUh..this is it? What a power!!...turbo and supercharge combine together.. on the you might see just a glimpse of this car...but then..really a 'drinker' car........how they do it?....

The idea comes in the 1930's for aircraft engine..long before development of ball bearing turbo.so unless ur running big, laggy turbo that spools up at 4k rpm+ i'd say it'd be more hassle than its worth..

Because of this hassle, i think they invented the aftermarket parts such as racing crank bearing, forged piston & con-rod, racing cams for top end revving, so that the turbo boost can be utilize during track racing, drifting and drag, the quest for more hp's continues...
my two cents

still it'd be nice to have that low end umphh n smooth V8 characteristic dyno curve..IMO this kind of setup is best utilized for track racing, drifting etc. as the power is available steadily at any point of the rev band..no sudden rush of boost coming in as in using big turbo so can control n anticipate ur car behaviour better lah..for drag n dyno comp better bolt on the baddest turbo setup u can get ur hands on
..1 thing that bugs me is the sc belt system looks like a major drag at high rev..opinion?

SC belt, for example supercharge is gain 60% power, but lost its 20% power because of it run via crankshaft. Crankshaft has more load then before. for my opinion, is a overall of lost power.
Let say centrifugal type supercharge (look like turbine from turbo system) it will become faster and faster because of the centrifugal force, so i think this type of supercharge will not a burden for crankshaft at higher rev.

i think, u must try it out. we'll waiting for your new project named "project 7717"hehe..is supercharger producing more power than turbo charger?depend... taiko

Super Turbo Stunner
One of the fastest hatchbacks ever built -the supercharged and turbocharged Nissan March Super Turbo!
With 81kW at 6200 rpm and 130Nm at 4800 rpm the March Super Turbo – which weighs just 770kg - is an absolute rocket.

emm sya ada tgk tu video drfit king tek bawa twin charger, mmg buli buat tp problem dia satu jak..ssh mo control..cos torque dia sentiasa ada..time masuk, dlm, keluar corner..bahaya...kalau nda terer confirm terbabas..cos time corner ja.. laju..brek pun masi laju..jadi pada pendapat sya utk drag race buli lah..tp utk daily use mmg nda buli..ssh.
