What is SQ?

There's a misunderstanding that SQ(Sound Quality) is a system that can't play loud. Stock system also can't play loud but that's far from a real SQ system. So what is Sound Quality? SQ is that aspect of a sound system, which encompasses all of the performance factors which give the system the ability to re-produce an accurate and life-like rendition of the original recording as perfectly as possible. It includes factors such as tonality, ambience, subtle nuance, system gain structure, dynamics,transient response, and the list goes on and on.
SQ is a combination of all these technical factors as well as proper
speaker placement and proper system design. When a system is said to have perfect SQ, it generates the most accurate sound possible, with a sense of musical realism that gives the listener the impression that they "hear" a live performance right in front of them, as if the listener was in the audience watching the actual performers on an actual stage. Now, to get this realistic musical "sound stage" in a car, it takes careful system planning, speaker placement, and tuning.

yea, upsize to NS60 size..

sounds like either speaker wire loose, or amp channel defect...good luck troubleshooting!

geeko: try swaping RCA first. still no sound, check speaker cable.

battry sya masih pkai NS40.so far so good.no prob oso.some said might shorten the alternator lifespan if change to larger battery...hehe but I also will change to NS60 when the time comes...hehe

saya pnya time comes sda.. WTFish.. Batt weak, break bunyi, tayar botak, wire prob.. aiz.. cadang esok buka kerusi.. esok p try cas la dulu.. bole ka tu dry cell d cas? (OOT ka? xda batt xbole maen saun ba kan..) sori mod..

dry cell? u meant maintenance free battery? just let the battery die, not worth using anymore..last time long ago, i dunno my battery weak, tiba2 sound system off while driving, thought fuse broken and just left it uncheck for weeks...after battery mati, terus pasang new battery and suddenly got sound from speakers, everything back to normal lol..funny things do happen once battery become weak..

alternator x mahal juga tu geng...antam ja pakai batery besar...kalau angkang angkanglah trus then tukar alternatorlah trus....hehehe...x ada kerisauan....

Geeko, kau ada pakai passive untuk tweeter ka? kalau x, macam x boleh direct connect p player, speaker output dari player macam fullrange frequency, tia dpt control xover..yg dpt control xover tuk RCA output je, if not mistaken la..

front tweeter, rear untuk mid.klau tdk silap la...ko suda ubah tu xover setting pegi 3way?bukn ko antar kdai bikin ka sound tu?

ya btl ckp c final...ada suis lg tu mau tukar, apa2 tanya final, dia pakai 9887 lg lama dari aku hehe

tpi sya suda lupa ba...hehe dn tdk pernah direct player dulu.

geeko: untuk keslematan lpas wire suda, jn psang kuat.try ubah xover tweeter tngok ada perubahan tau tdk.klau ada perubahan ertinya ok la tu.untuk safety, jgn cross tweeter kurang dari 2.5khz@18db,untuk masa ini elakkan dari guna slope 6db la.klau ko dpt jumpa si rudy tau taaron untuk tune pn bagus juga.

tweeter direct player
woofer and subwoofer share 4channel HAHa..kasian btul..nnti la ada extra geran tanah..rumpak buah pinggang org ka..hahaha

tp buli tahan juga la tu 4 channel bumper..dpt juga dia angkat tu w3v3 hahaha

lol..u r rili funny..jgnla terbakar, touchwood...

if u set slope flat, means full range frequency no matter what hz/khz u set..becareful on this..bahayala nanti..ur tweeter, u can start from 2.5khz onwards with steep slope, jangan kasi flat slope..

for ur mid, u can do bandpass (LPF and HPF) on the player itself..in simple way, u control all ur xover on ur player, much more flexible, no need to use the amp's xover (set bypass/off)..

ya btul tu ckp taaron, slope jgn flat.at least 12db keatas untuk tweeter.tpi rsanya klau 3way punya setting suda on, tdk buli kasi flat tu slope tweeter.

fian: jgn kau..on 3way mode, tweeter slope pun masih boleh kasi flat tu, masih ada bahaya juga..hehe..actually ada 2 settings, user's and maker's, x pasti mana 1 default kalau x kacau setting...user's = TW slope can be set to flat, maker's = lowest TW slope is 6db

haha ya lupa pula c taaron pkai 9887 juga..better taaron tolong c geeko tiun nanti..
