find a sifu to make the sub woofer enclosure for u. using a ready made or unmeasured enclosure will not give u the sub full potential.find someone tat know about port tuning. u might need ur subwoofer tech data sheet..so dont buy subs that dont have any.

so wanna find someone that had many experience about subwoofer lar...ooo..what the use of power amp?

power amp, amp, amplifier and monoblock is an amplifier to power ur speaker.it works to reproduce the sound from the HU (do ur research...this is the basic of a car audio system)

using a powerful amp to a lower power speaker will not give u a powerful sound production (after doing gain balancing).it may cause speaker blown or distortion (refer RMS power ratting). and u cant determine the loudness of a speaker based on the size, quantity, number of coil, magnet or power ratting. but usually a higher power ratting speaker produce louder sound.therefore u cant say two 12" sub is more powerful than a single 12" sub.

to achieve the maximum potential(loudness) of a speaker, u need to supply sufficient amount of power (RMS) and a good enclosure that specifically made for that particular speaker.

p/s each speaker are unique. u cant measure the speaker enclosure only based on the number of coil, size, magnet or power ratting. exmple if an MTX dvc 10" sub sounds good with an enclosure, it doesnt mean that a 10" dvc JBL will sound good using the same enclosure.like I said, u need the technical data sheet to make the enclosure.

Owh..like that...i also ask about Power Amp because i had Horizon brand power amp..

look for the amp's power rating (RMS) and impedance (ohm) then u shud know which sub/ speaker suit for the amp.

btw, next time if u happened to b in KK n if we got TT/LS join2 la it'll give u lots of new experience n knowledge about In Car Entertainment.no need 2 worry if u dont have any aftermarket sound system cos most of us still stock oso...most important thing is to share the knowledge

oo...i will ask audio sifu at Lahad Datu....so hard to install that thing...hehe

better do ur search on the net first.I never trust any car acc shop accept for the reputable one...they only know how to sell stuff but 0 knowledge or maybe they just dont care.unless u have frends at the shop then u can ask. what thing hard to install?

nangis kamurang kalau sya kasi tgk ICE setup sya.DIY pakai kotak beer jak hahaha..cos lubang blkng original speaker terlampau besar.tiapa la sementara jak tu,cos speaker original kancil pecah.Mo d upgrade sdh dalam minggu ni atau minggu depan...tunggu cuaca nda hujan..banjir skrng. baru boleh jln p Autotek.
