Bro, ko baca saja info yg sy post diatas, mmg ada info² bagaimana mau kasi power enjin tuh... sy sendri pun masi blajar nie... cara psg sama saja dgn cara psg cam pulley biasa tuh... ikut marking lama supaya boleh buat adjustment selepas memasang adjustable cam gear nie, advance & retard saja yg perlu diadjust, 2 cara mau cari setting cantik, antara test run atau buat dyno...

Changes in the relationship between the crankshaft and the camshaft can
increase HP in DOHC cars from 8-16 HP for normally aspirated engines
and 12-24 HP for forced induction engines. SOHC owners can expect small
increases in HP (2-4 HP) in certain parts of the power band. SOHC owner
can also shift their power curve from the stock setting to low-rpm
improvements (off the line enhancements) or high rpm improvements.
Adjustments vary depending on whether the engine is SOHC or DOHC and whether it
uses forced induction or is normally aspirated. We have found for stock
and mildly modified DOHC engines, whether forced induction or normally
aspirated, that 2-3 degrees negative on the exhaust and 1-2 degrees
positive on the intake (again varying slightly from engine to engine)
produce the highest overall gains throughout the engines RPM band. SOHC
cam owners can adjust their cam for optimized low-rpm performance
(amount of total adjustment varies from engine to engine and should be
done in one degree positive increments until peak low-rpm performance
has been achieved), by advancing their cam.

SOHC cam owners can adjust their cam for optimized high-rpm performance (amount
of total adjustment varies from engine to engine and should be done in
one degree negative increments until peak high-rpm performance has been
achieved), by retarding their cam. Owners who are beyond the basic
bolt-on parts would find themselves best served by having their
sprockets adjusted while measuring engine output on a dyno or at the
track.

tengok apa engine, biasanya rm200+ sebiji. kancil mahu custom, tiada jual punya.

untuk kereta yg mempunya dvvt, vvti, pakai acp akan menghilangkan system tersebut

nda mantap lah pakai acp nie..sebab engine aku dvvt..

huhu engine kelisa mana ada dvvt hehe

opss silap..vvt..kekekeke..valve variable timing..nieto tadi aku jumpa bapa ko..dia ckp ko balik esok..haiya..kempunan lah aku nie..

pinjam topic sikit. ya last minute baru ada cuti, tak sempat tolong u beli barang.


kalau vvt tidak tau boleh pasang acp atau tidak, kena tanya otai yang lain

sedikit info, saya sudah pasang, dohc 4g91 standard cam.

1st try
intake advance 3mm
exhaust retard 3mm

result =
Low end rpm hilang, keluar junction seksa... sebab kereta saya auto. mid end rpm dari rpm 3 ada sudah power datang, lebih kuat daripada cam asal. ini setting sesuai untuk manual.

2nd try
intake advance 3mm
exhaust advance 3mm

result =
to be continue.... belum lagi test run habis, tapi saya rasa 2nd try tidak sucess juga, kena buat lagi 3rd try hehe~

owh..jd benda ni x sesuai utk transmisi auto la or ada mau setting kc ngam lg

hehe auto atau manual suam ngam cuma mo tengok dr settingnya aja hehhe

sebenarnya memang ngam auto, cuma setting saya itu tidak sesuai untuk auto. kalau auto, biasanya kena set low end rpm atau mid rpm, sebab auto akan selalu tukar gear tinggi. dohc susah mahu main. kalau sohc senang ja, kalau advance pickup low rpm, kalau retard, top rpm baru kuat. tapi ada juga engine yang terbalik retard sama advance.

sekarang project terpaksa stop buat sementara, sebab exhaust pipe aku macam bocor. jadi tak dapat rasa tu power~
