Menukar sistem ekzos tak semestinye menyebabkan penggunaan minyak bertambah. Antara komponen penting sistem ekzos yg boleh ditukar utk menjimatkan minyak dan menambah performance ialah extractor/header. Masalah utama ialah org byk dgr org ckp yg kate 'tukar ekzos minyak kuat pakai' 'pakai je ekzos standard minyak save' tanpe die mengkaji sendiri sbb ape setup yg berbeza boleh mempengaruhi performance dan penggunaan minyak. Byk kat buku dan internet bincangkan ttg nih. Atau cari majalah2 kereta luar negara yg banyak membincangkan hal teknikal.

Itu sebab ramai org tak paham konsep efficiency. Tanyelah semue pembuat kereta skrg, sume cube meningkatkan efficiency yg mempengaruhi penambahan performance dan penjimatan minyak. Tanye kat engineer proton yg buat IAFM dan CPS yg tambah performace dan jimat minyak, tanye Toyota yg buat VVT-i. Kalau diaorg suke kate sumenye subjektif, maka diaorg anggap je perkare ni subjektif. Penggunaan minyak yg lebih tuh disebabkan org suke rev kereta lebih bile tukar sistem ekzos. Org berhak utk setuju dgm mane2 pendapat tp pendapat yg berdasarkan fakta ialah yg terbaik. Bukan sekadar ikut cakap org.

Tukar sistem ekzos pun boleh meningkatkan effieciency jike kena cara. ini pengalaman, tukar tuned extractor 4-2-1 mmg jimat minyak dan performance bertambah. Tp driving behaviour kene tolak tepi.

Ok,tanye kat engineer proton yg buat ekzos Wira SE. Kenape die tukar kpd tuned 4-2-1. Adakah menyebabkan minyak bertambah? Atau tanye kat engineer automotive yg lain. Atau tanye kat budak automotive engineering. Masalah skrg, kite byk dgr org ckp, hanye sbb die merasa orang itu otai. Maka org boleh tipu kite, mcm ckp menukar extractor 4-2-1 boleh mempercepatkan tindak balas pendikit dan mengorbankan minyak, kenape die cakap mcm tuh. Kenape tak terangkan pengaruh reka bentuk extractor terhadap fresh air-fuel mixture, intake stroke dan power stroke? Kenape die tak terangkan dgn menukar kpd tuned 4-2-1 extractor, ia boleh membantu dalam membenarkan lebih byk percampuran a/f yg lbh efisyen. Knp tak terangkan siphoning dan scavenging effect?

Kalau pasal pengalaman, mmg jimat minyak. Kwn2 kat luar sane, lps tukar tuned extractor, sume rase jimat minyak. Ade yg cakap save 5%, terpulang pd care pemanduan. Teori VE mmg berdasarkan fakta, yg membuatkannye subjektif ialah cara pemanduan. Jgn takut utk menukar sistem ekzos, tp pastikan kite tahu selok beloknye.

There is no difference in power between the two designs. One-piece 4-2-1 headers are lighter because the middle flange section is eliminated, but are more difficult to install if you do not have access to a lift/installation. Two-piece 4-2-1 header designs are much easier to install because of the additional flange that connects the upper primary piping to the lower secondary piping, enabling the installer to install the upper section from above and mate the lower section from under the vehicle. Although it is possible to install a one-piece design without a lift, Recommendation are the two-piece 4-2-1 design for enthusiasts who plan to install their header using jack stands.

ni pengalaman sa lah, keta kenari ku 1.0 Auto....

pas sa tukar extractor, buang tong besar stended blakang, sa tambah 2 bullet....

piping depan spi blakang x kacau, stended hbs 1.5" kilang........

perbezaan yg ketara ialah, pick up bertambah, mcm ringan jak injin tuh....

myk x bezanya penggunaan, melainkan kaki tuh gatal mo tekan sampai lantai & redline...... Laughing

dan sa menggunakan open pod filter Simota......

masa stended berabis 100% spec kilang ... max speed keta 155 km/h ...

selepas tukar semua yg disebut diatas tadi tuh ... power injin terasa ...
160 km/h (hbs meter) ... tp x tau brp ketepatan sebenar, x RSM Laughing Yahoo

hehe..power mmg la..sebab aku pun pakai xtractor..3-1....ori piping depan,buang tabung ori tukar lurus sport...tabung sport keluar 2inch sampai muffler blkg 4inch...jimat minyak kah x tau la...bising jak.. Laughing


4-2-1 sesuai auto,got pick..sebab auto berat..nak sikit toque....4-1 sesuai manual,4 rpm tinggi...biasa kalo twin cam gear 3 syok tarik la..hehe...

Nak power, tukar ke open pod air filter, piping lepas 4-2-1 extrator, tukar pergi 2 inci(susah nak cari 1.8 inci) pakai bullet tengah (yg bertwist), muffler pakai aftermarket S' type ... 1 whole system, dlm 7 - 10 hp naik....
