First topic message reminder :

Menukar sistem ekzos tak semestinye menyebabkan penggunaan minyak bertambah. Antara komponen penting sistem ekzos yg boleh ditukar utk menjimatkan minyak dan menambah performance ialah extractor/header. Masalah utama ialah org byk dgr org ckp yg kate 'tukar ekzos minyak kuat pakai' 'pakai je ekzos standard minyak save' tanpe die mengkaji sendiri sbb ape setup yg berbeza boleh mempengaruhi performance dan penggunaan minyak. Byk kat buku dan internet bincangkan ttg nih. Atau cari majalah2 kereta luar negara yg banyak membincangkan hal teknikal.

Itu sebab ramai org tak paham konsep efficiency. Tanyelah semue pembuat kereta skrg, sume cube meningkatkan efficiency yg mempengaruhi penambahan performance dan penjimatan minyak. Tanye kat engineer proton yg buat IAFM dan CPS yg tambah performace dan jimat minyak, tanye Toyota yg buat VVT-i. Kalau diaorg suke kate sumenye subjektif, maka diaorg anggap je perkare ni subjektif. Penggunaan minyak yg lebih tuh disebabkan org suke rev kereta lebih bile tukar sistem ekzos. Org berhak utk setuju dgm mane2 pendapat tp pendapat yg berdasarkan fakta ialah yg terbaik. Bukan sekadar ikut cakap org.

Tukar sistem ekzos pun boleh meningkatkan effieciency jike kena cara. ini pengalaman, tukar tuned extractor 4-2-1 mmg jimat minyak dan performance bertambah. Tp driving behaviour kene tolak tepi.

Ok,tanye kat engineer proton yg buat ekzos Wira SE. Kenape die tukar kpd tuned 4-2-1. Adakah menyebabkan minyak bertambah? Atau tanye kat engineer automotive yg lain. Atau tanye kat budak automotive engineering. Masalah skrg, kite byk dgr org ckp, hanye sbb die merasa orang itu otai. Maka org boleh tipu kite, mcm ckp menukar extractor 4-2-1 boleh mempercepatkan tindak balas pendikit dan mengorbankan minyak, kenape die cakap mcm tuh. Kenape tak terangkan pengaruh reka bentuk extractor terhadap fresh air-fuel mixture, intake stroke dan power stroke? Kenape die tak terangkan dgn menukar kpd tuned 4-2-1 extractor, ia boleh membantu dalam membenarkan lebih byk percampuran a/f yg lbh efisyen. Knp tak terangkan siphoning dan scavenging effect?

Kalau pasal pengalaman, mmg jimat minyak. Kwn2 kat luar sane, lps tukar tuned extractor, sume rase jimat minyak. Ade yg cakap save 5%, terpulang pd care pemanduan. Teori VE mmg berdasarkan fakta, yg membuatkannye subjektif ialah cara pemanduan. Jgn takut utk menukar sistem ekzos, tp pastikan kite tahu selok beloknye.

tuari sa sdh tkr cat con tgh standard. mufflr blm lg la. kalo tkr pi 4-2-1, muffler mcmana mo pakai? apa2 ja pun boley? aritu tu bos sana kedai ekzoz bgtau ada muffler yg power tp ada lebey myk sket. ada jg yg x kacau myk tp hp naik sket sajala. betul ka?

4-2-1 & s-flow piping propose slower air flow, create back
pressure thus causing better pickup. 4-1 & straight-flow piping allow
faster air flow, causing slower pickup but higher top speed

kalau 4-2-1 low to midrange
4-1 untuk top end, pasal tu kalau untuk drag, banyak yang pilih 4-1

secara peribadi, aku labih suka pakai 4-2-1 untuk kereta harian, maksud kereta yang aku pakai ni untuk kawasan bandar, maklum saja lah, tak perlu lah aku nak tekan sampai redline, power dah memadai bwteen low to middle aje

untuk enjin 4age aku, aku pakai ni, HKS super header type II, 4-2-1, percaya atau tidak manifold/header ni cukup sejuk, lepas tutup enjin kereta dalam 20 minit, pegang saja header tu tak panas

4agze memang boleh pasang, tapi kalau application dia RWD lah, kalau FWD tak boleh lah, header ni memang khas untuk AE86, aku beli baru harga dia dalam $1.2k
