What is SQ?

There's a misunderstanding that SQ(Sound Quality) is a system that can't play loud. Stock system also can't play loud but that's far from a real SQ system. So what is Sound Quality? SQ is that aspect of a sound system, which encompasses all of the performance factors which give the system the ability to re-produce an accurate and life-like rendition of the original recording as perfectly as possible. It includes factors such as tonality, ambience, subtle nuance, system gain structure, dynamics,transient response, and the list goes on and on.
SQ is a combination of all these technical factors as well as proper
speaker placement and proper system design. When a system is said to have perfect SQ, it generates the most accurate sound possible, with a sense of musical realism that gives the listener the impression that they "hear" a live performance right in front of them, as if the listener was in the audience watching the actual performers on an actual stage. Now, to get this realistic musical "sound stage" in a car, it takes careful system planning, speaker placement, and tuning.

bah, final, time to survey for new amp... ur scanspeak demands for a better amp. haha. btw, does the amp overheat when it cut off? if yes, try giving it more ventilation, if not, it's either not enuf current or amp rosak inside.

tdk panas.panas skit la.normal temp.sya try off sub pn sma juga.lmpu tdk ada dim.klau tak cukup current mesti lmpu ada dimm suda.2moro baru diagnose lgi la.klau masi juga, tahan sja la main vol rendah...hehe nanti baru kumpul duit cari amp...huhu ertinya sub tdk tetukar la 2...hehe

hahaha, kesian final... berhabis kita menghasut ko angkat ini angkat itu. last time scanspeak, last week i suruh angkat sub, skrg rudy suruh angkat audison, nanti andrew suruh angkat mcintosh. jgn nanti ada yg suruh ko angkat coucar, hahaha.

haha lek ba...plan2...memang mau juga 2...tpi lom mampu lgi...hehe

found the culprit...my amp doing just fine...the prob is the solder at the right speaker touching the car door panel wen i rise the vol (vibration) later i re solder it.huhu yg solder 2 speaker dulu sngat tdk kemas.very thick solder...hehe

pnat juga test evry speaker ...huhu dlm pintu 2 sngat humid.i can see some oxidation edy on the wires...damn...huhu

sa ada mau tanya ni...dulu sa kalau mau check ni thread sa check email saja...tapi baru2 ni sa dpt email bila click ni thread ilang...sa cari2 ndada juga nda jumpa...jadi sa ketinggalanlah discussion korang....baru ja ni sa dpt lagi email pg ni thread....

hehe..lama2 ada yg main external spl ni c final hehe.

m using a cheap amp only. pioneer 6400f. Scans 15W + xt25 RM1.5K...this is used unit btw.

stay in rumah kawan boleh ba. atau tunes hotel di 1Borneo, atau make a day trip la, put the car in the shop then naik bas balik keningau, bila siap turun bas lagi then taxi pergi kedai. i think this wun cost more than rm200. . i rasa jon mau tanya apa amp yg bakal diguna utk scanspeak kau ba, haha.
