What is SQ?

There's a misunderstanding that SQ(Sound Quality) is a system that can't play loud. Stock system also can't play loud but that's far from a real SQ system. So what is Sound Quality? SQ is that aspect of a sound system, which encompasses all of the performance factors which give the system the ability to re-produce an accurate and life-like rendition of the original recording as perfectly as possible. It includes factors such as tonality, ambience, subtle nuance, system gain structure, dynamics,transient response, and the list goes on and on.
SQ is a combination of all these technical factors as well as proper
speaker placement and proper system design. When a system is said to have perfect SQ, it generates the most accurate sound possible, with a sense of musical realism that gives the listener the impression that they "hear" a live performance right in front of them, as if the listener was in the audience watching the actual performers on an actual stage. Now, to get this realistic musical "sound stage" in a car, it takes careful system planning, speaker placement, and tuning.

hehe brg bgus bah tu, tula mahal, aritu mau juga bli baby cap flux tp duit ngam2 ja pas bli rca, so bli helix cap ja la. flux punya rca pun teda yg 5m masa tu, so bli brand lain juga..

Mundorf pun barang bagus bah juga geng....anyway...it depends on how u wanna spend ur mooooo........

ya lor, both Mundorf n flux are hi-end..cuma mau try brand lain dari org.

mm aku pun nda ingat suda sbb bli skali rca dpt diskaun, tp dlm rm200-rm250 la..hehe aku punya rca tidak la gila2 punya, pakai rca phoenix gold yg platinum level saja...

mmm ada 5% perubahan saja kali, it just a cable hehe, but still important right..dulu pakai cable ayam susah btl mau dpt sound sedap, skrg boleh dpt suda tu sound, tp bukan juga ckp senang dpt, tp boleh dapat suda hehe.

Ck kalau ko beli tu Helix baby cap mau juga RM250 bah tu...kalau di Sabah ni silap2 ada kedai yg jual RM400...hati2...bagus ko order ja tu mundorf headcap.....besar lagi rating dia macam 66uF kah tu banding ama tu Helix cuma 33uF ja...tu mundorf head cap baru ja RM350...

Mana dpt cari tu mundorf? Aku plan mau ambik 2 caps. 1 utk hu and 1 utk processor. Helix cukup makan la tu.

Kalu HU tu Mundorf Headcap paling ngam tu CK...RM350 sedia lagi dia punya connection tu pg HU, untuk processor ko ambillah yg 1F (around RM750)...ko kol ja c Mike tu....cepat ja tu dia kirim ko...

haha..ya, bgus bli mundorf la di AC, memang hi-end cap..for both HU n amp..sini PG punya cap suda 1k, streetwires pun rm700..bgus bli mundorf..we support u religiously (morally hehe)

walamak, 1k utk cap pula... pening la kali ini, tunggu nanti ada budget baru cakap. hope my ears not so sensitive/hi end, tak payah bazir duit lagi, haha.

ck, can u suggest the best scanspeak components for both 2-way & 3-way..kalau ada duit mau try n see how vast are the difference between speakers that i've tried before..im not a fanatic to a certain brand, but i want to use the best..so far DLS is the best to me..

(i'll buy new set of speakers if i manage to replace the HU & amps first heheh, btw, ni sekadar crita2 saja..drp forum ni senyap ja)

1 more thing since u are very familiar with scanspeak products n their model, napa org teda pakai yang illuminator, cuma revelator ja.

illuminator are meant for home audio and i mean strictly home audio, lotsa preparation to be taken account if wanna install in car. since u like rock, u shud try seas instead of scans. scans more to vocal and slower music.

oh thanks...i like slow music too..suda jarang dengar tu rock, tu dls pun tidak ngam pasang rock sbb kurang mid high.. tp mau pasang 3-way dls dulu n test ngam ka tidak utk rock..org punya 3 way dls pun tune utk vocal juga, susah mau tau kalau bukan barang sendiri ni..

scanspeak punya midbass ok ka, tidak juga mau telampau kuat macam hertz & AD mau yg ngam2 saja,

tweeter detail? dulu ko ada pkai nobelium, skrg apa ko rasa bezanya?

btw..besar gila tu mid scanspeak..

hmm kali tuk versatility pakai SEAS instead of Scans?

itu la mid CK pkai...hehe
