What is SQ?

There's a misunderstanding that SQ(Sound Quality) is a system that can't play loud. Stock system also can't play loud but that's far from a real SQ system. So what is Sound Quality? SQ is that aspect of a sound system, which encompasses all of the performance factors which give the system the ability to re-produce an accurate and life-like rendition of the original recording as perfectly as possible. It includes factors such as tonality, ambience, subtle nuance, system gain structure, dynamics,transient response, and the list goes on and on.
SQ is a combination of all these technical factors as well as proper
speaker placement and proper system design. When a system is said to have perfect SQ, it generates the most accurate sound possible, with a sense of musical realism that gives the listener the impression that they "hear" a live performance right in front of them, as if the listener was in the audience watching the actual performers on an actual stage. Now, to get this realistic musical "sound stage" in a car, it takes careful system planning, speaker placement, and tuning.

I dont feel comftble staying at my frenz house lama2...slalu brapa lama 2 mau siap aah?1 week?adeh...
let say after they measure evrything, I think can just leave the door panel at the shop ba.so the car I can bwa balik.theres no need to leave it there

bakal amp 2 lom tefikir lgi...no budget ta bleh ckp la...hehe

berapa lama mo tengok kedai la ni. sometimes it can be few days, sometimes sampai 1 week. mau tengok skill dia org juga. u turun dan tanya la. can oso leave the door panel there, but scared not fit cos of skill tak sampai, it happened to me.

okay bah tu c ck...bila lagi ko mo kawan ama doktor and anak tawkeh....bila lagi minta2 check kesihatan badan bukan cuma kesihatan ICE....hehehehe.........

btw...biasanya dorang mau ukur ko kena c tinggal satu hari tu d sana.....lepas tu dalam dua tiga hari nanti siaplah udah tu,,,sa suggest ko boleh ambil waktu lain bila ko pg kk lagi...tinggal di hotel bah sekali sekali....transport boleh minta doktor bah jadi driver kejap...kekeke......sa cadangkan ko pg sana soundeast...boleh tahan tu towkeh dia....lagi pun dia buat sendiri dia lum ada pekerja lagi....

boleh ba jadi driver once in a while. no problem if i dun have any thing to do. can stay at my hse for a day or 2 if needed. final better turun KK survey price dulu. nanti overbudget sengsara la tu.

ya ba, tiada kasi update ni... aku punya future system almost complete. cable semua dah beli, RCA Canare GS6 with neutrik plugs, Canare 4S8 for midbass and sub. tinggal sub saja mau angkat. most prolly buying a new car as well, thinking of Mazda 6.

btw, i'm officially a doctor now. juz passed my exam.

wah congrats CK...next month ko balik suda kn...ba better enjoy ur free b4 kerja...nanti tiada bnyak msa suda 2...hehe

waa mazda 6 woh...hebat...make sure u make full research first b4 making ur final decision...mesti mau dengar 2 high end system pas 2...hehe

congratulations CK...I suggest u get Nissan Skyline GTR instead....u wont be sorry 4eva....

thx everyone, aku dah buat research banyak banyak... paling suka tu mazda 6 for cars under 150k. skyline R34 is 2 doors, 2nd hand and design kinda dated d, have to spend a lot on maintainance and mods. need something sleek looking and nice interior. accord and camry very uncle look. next time la when i get rich, will get a R35 for a try, by that time shud be quite cheap d. haha.

how dare u say Nissan Skyline GTR outdated? and u cant get it with the price of RM150K....

R34 boleh ba 150k. R35 la yg mahal. mmg R34 punya design dated la. tu yr 2000 punya design. no doubt it's a performance monster but it's not wat i need.

btw tdi sya pegi round d putatan lepas dari papar, bnyak kdai audio sna...tpi tdk survey habis la brg2...mau pegi soundeast tpi tutup pula...huhu rushing juga tdi...tdk pn tejumpa c rudy...sori aah rudy...hehe tlmpau ramai org kahwin ba skrg ni...

as long as sport car mmg not selesa for passenger since it's a driver's car, not a family car. suspension pun stiff, kecuali macam thoose lexus or BMW sports car ada adjustable suspension la, baru high.

ok here's the update..

1. The 'stealth' sound damping n soundproof was stripped off the door panel n cleaned, i mean much cleaner than the pic shown below..

2. the installer came up with the idea to cover the large door panel's hole with similar material like almunium after we chit chat about the competition in Thailand..those ICErs extremely modified their door panel with pure thick almunium which will cost a lot..so..instead of using almunium, he use a sandwiched carbon with almunium..alooooooooot cheaper than the real s**t.

3. the door panel was heavily dynamated inside-out.

4. The so called 'spacial' was custom made with MDF board and then fibered due to the absence of varnish..he followed the DLS spec where the driver's ventilation must be made.

5. the project is still running..tp besok saya mau pg ranau jalan2 sana poring...so blum siap lagi...baru 80%

6. my conclusion for now is...he have done something beyond my expection..better than the best installer i've ever met...amazing result!!

wow, macam project besar dah siap ni... berapa kos bikin macam tu? kenapa tak bikin kasi angle dia skit? ada improvement in midbass ka? sampai papar pula ni...

di papar ni kampung org rumah ku bah..dtg survey2 n crita2 trus bikin..hehe projek persediaan bah tu......nanti ada duit bikin lain lg..dia pun ndatau macam mana mau charge coz tu 1st time dia bikin begitu extreme n excited..so aku bg dia 1k..(btw i'm the first SQers to come over there hehe so all his workers n some regular customers had a chance to hear what is SQ all about last night..sbb d kedai tu ada jual iridium 6.3i tp dorang tdk pernah dgr lg. senyum2 ja aku dgr respon dorang..)

oh kalau angle nanti di luar nampak macam kick panel udah tu hehe..mmm 30% improvement.

hehe, those compliments juz warm up our hearts bah kan? when i did mine oso, the ppl dat heard my system pun tersenyum bila dengar. dats one of the biggest reward for our money spent on the system. 1k for everything? not bad la since he used dynamat.
