What is SQ?

There's a misunderstanding that SQ(Sound Quality) is a system that can't play loud. Stock system also can't play loud but that's far from a real SQ system. So what is Sound Quality? SQ is that aspect of a sound system, which encompasses all of the performance factors which give the system the ability to re-produce an accurate and life-like rendition of the original recording as perfectly as possible. It includes factors such as tonality, ambience, subtle nuance, system gain structure, dynamics,transient response, and the list goes on and on.
SQ is a combination of all these technical factors as well as proper
speaker placement and proper system design. When a system is said to have perfect SQ, it generates the most accurate sound possible, with a sense of musical realism that gives the listener the impression that they "hear" a live performance right in front of them, as if the listener was in the audience watching the actual performers on an actual stage. Now, to get this realistic musical "sound stage" in a car, it takes careful system planning, speaker placement, and tuning.

scan punya midbass cantik, tak terlampau kuat tapi blends nicely with sub easily. kalau mau versatility, lebih baik angkat scans, seas are harder to tune cos its very revealing, any flaws in ur systems will be revealed instantly. tweeter DLS sama scans banyak beza la, juz 1 pharase, i neva regretted selling my nobelium for scanspeak revelators. dat explains enuf.

Yeah scanspeaks all the way...been using those brand u all talk about here...not to mention all those Chaps Itiks and Chaps Ayam...except that I got some1 swearing by his car that MP7 is the best of the best....yeah I can still exclaimss....Scanspeaks all the way...and revelator should be ur choice....

Mid Scanspeaks mana ada besar...4 inches ja pun...look for 12M not 12W or 15W like finalazy is using...tweets? look for 70000 series....and mid bass go for 18W.....

U cant afford it? Save n keep ur monie till u got enough...u wont be sorry...DLS is nothing man...in term of SQ compare to Scanspeaks...(mesti banyak musuh udah sa ni sini dalam ni - bah diam2 dulu dua tiga minggu...sampai reda hehehe....)

hehe..ok bah tu...AC said 3-way scanspeak is about 7k, if its the best, i dun care how much it will cost..(speaker saja la, kalau hu n amp pakai yg mid-end suda cukup hehe)..

hehe final, aku tune bukan lg 7 hari 7 mlm...1 bulan blum tau dapat tu studio like sound..pakai p80 lagi la susah btl mau dapat hahaha..tanya c boi brapa bulan aku tune baru dpt tu sound ngam...

pernah ka kamu tune2 sound n kamu rasa puas hati suda..skali kamu dgr org pakai sony HU atau yg biasa2 n speaker biasa2 lagi keluar dia punya tone n halus bunyinya (jgn kira time alignment la)..nda ka rasa sakit hati tu haha..aku pernah g2, tp suda overcome la..tu la dulu aku mau main rockford ja sbb suda mau give up tune2 ni haha..pengalaman....

hehe...ada.kwn d skolah sa.HU biasa2.component speaker pn biasa2, sub pioneer dn amp pioneer.
msa sya baru psang mid n tweet, sa p dngar system dia pnya la.tngal 5% lgi kasi kalah sya tu pn psal HU teda crossover jdi 2 kelemahan la.tpi tweeter dia memang clean la.macam c power ckp halus2...hehe

boi, tweeter aku sengaja set kurang sikit, aku tak suka bunyi tajam, rasa tak selesa. boleh kasi tajam lagi kalau mau. tapi morel mmg terkenal dgn soft sound, which i kinda like it. telinga ko tak ada problem bro.

final, halus atau tidak, susah mau cakap, mau dengar lama2. too halus dah not natural. a good system shud have low listening fatigue. 18W is 18cm/7" lo.

rudy, mau kasi max tu potential scanspeak, semua benda lain pun mesti max, kalau tidak hancurlah tu scanspeak.

yeah, low listening fatigue, n fun to hear too..not dull but just nice crystal clear..ramai org yg tune dull..mana ada sound di studio gitu..

banyak brand bah yang bleh main dvd, single n double din..tidak lah..tu dvd n cd audio will sound the same sbb saiz audio file yg paling optimum pun tidak la sebesar video file..tiada compression tuk kc masuk file tu dlm cd (kalau mp3 lain crita la)..cuma video saja, kalau cd, lebih compression tuk kc muat video tu cd, kalau dvd, less compression sbb capacity besar..so video quality makin improved..(saja explain, aku tau ko tau juga ni)

final mau pakai dvd ka..pair ngan pricessor la trus..

kawan sa pernah pasang tu utopia be...masa i dengar tu dia belum tuning lagi n belum run in lagi...hodoh...

Lepas sudah run in tu org tune....waw...syok...tapikan...mengikut talinga sa...still no better than scanspeaks...kalilah kan sa ni talinga jenis bunyi2 merdu n lembut2 bah...

Kalau korang jenis macam sa...jgn lagi fikir2 bah...ambil ja tu scans...

Power ko org studio soundskan? D sabah ada udah org buat recording pakai SACD or DVD-A? Sa pernah dengar dua forrmat ni mmg jauh lebih baik dari Audio CD lah...so bad d Sabah tada kedai yg jual dua format ni....kalau ada pun mana ada HU yg boleh main tu benda selain Sony (i mean SACD)...tapi Sony punya HU pula low quality...so satisfy with Audio CD ajalah...

tunggu la 10 years lgi...mesti ada juga 2 kena mass produce DVD audio.tat time CD myb teda suda org guna...jadi macam floppy disk hehe

dgn MP3 n berbagai jenis compression yg ada sekarang ni....n semua org cuma mau dengar sekadar bunyi ja...bukan kualiti...rasanya 10 tahun akan datang....ndada udah semua tu....ekonomi kita bukan makin baik...kalau tada duit sama kisah kualiti? hentam saja asal ada...

tpi cuba tngok macam VCD.ta lama keluar DVD.lebih terang...then Blueray.lebih2 lagi ada TV LED lgi.tpi klau music tatau la pula...susa mau ckp.hehe macam org lebih minat music video dari audio shja.
