What is SQ?

There's a misunderstanding that SQ(Sound Quality) is a system that can't play loud. Stock system also can't play loud but that's far from a real SQ system. So what is Sound Quality? SQ is that aspect of a sound system, which encompasses all of the performance factors which give the system the ability to re-produce an accurate and life-like rendition of the original recording as perfectly as possible. It includes factors such as tonality, ambience, subtle nuance, system gain structure, dynamics,transient response, and the list goes on and on.
SQ is a combination of all these technical factors as well as proper
speaker placement and proper system design. When a system is said to have perfect SQ, it generates the most accurate sound possible, with a sense of musical realism that gives the listener the impression that they "hear" a live performance right in front of them, as if the listener was in the audience watching the actual performers on an actual stage. Now, to get this realistic musical "sound stage" in a car, it takes careful system planning, speaker placement, and tuning.

ya bah niz..lama2 main passive ja ni, lupakan masalah tune2 ni...n siapa yg lum ada barang n for k-car, go go go focal k2 (80w rms @4ohm) + FP5.500 (75x4 + 200x1)+ polyglass 8' or 11....look for used one..u'll get it all haha..

fuu... tu tweeter brg bagus dan affordable lah tu..cuma tpaksa main active hu @ active amp huhu.

but then, if u go back to passive, later u r not satisfied and then itchy hands to tune again using active...hehe..just sit back and enjoy the music........

thats why i want to use passive n enjoy

use back the ori passive ka? or high-end custom passive? hehe..

ori passive la, custom passive waste more money haha..well i cannot 100% accept with AC's philosophy, high end ice + high end business , i just want to go back to basic n live happily....but need money to buy basic things oso huhu..wish i can reverse the time but the ice knowledge still remain the same

taaron, what's ur dream active setup? i have mine b4 but now i dont want to think about that now but thinking on downgrading 1 step down in active sys b4 i quit and go passive hehe...yes yes, i've encountered a lot regarding high end thingy (not only ice) which later on bring troubles rather than satisfaction with smile...

actly u just need to know when to stop n tell urself this is the point I can afford...hehe

I think AC is more into musical/tonality. tats y they r more into passive rather than active setup.

ada.ada active passive juga tu.tpi active sangat jarang org main.mhl gila2.

passive memang suda d kaji dari kilang ba tu response.ada juga button d passive tu untuk pilih slope n xover dn gain level.tpi limited la.tdk macam digital xover macam d HU..tpi mesti mau ingat, lain kreta lain ragam bunyinya.

itu ka di maksudkan "limited"?

limited dia punya pilihan di passive.adjustment tu...klau banding macam d player ada bnyak pilihan xover point yg kita mau, slope lgi.

ic2...kalau macam 9887 tu..6,12,18,24..player2 high end lain sma juga ka?6->24 jg ka

passive kita kacau slope saja, kalau speaker mahal banyak lah confignya, kalau yg biasa slope 6db sama 12db ja tu tun hanya tuk tweeter...haha jgn risau bah pasal limited tu, sedangkan yg active pun nda dpt2 juga yg sedap, nah satu kali passive antam lagi sedap dari active yg antam2 haha ada btl ka..

haha btl juga ko ckp tu final...yg penting kita stop ja, habis crita..

hehe ya bah geeko, 9887 tu kira high-end (but affordable) juga tu, kalau tdk aku n final dulu pun nda pakai tu 9887 hehe..nanti kalau ko set switch 3 way actice tu cuba ko kasi list dia pnya freq range tuk tweeter punya x-over, mau tengok rangenya, lupa udah

this setup is quite affordable & good for beginner with a tight budget..
