What is SQ?

There's a misunderstanding that SQ(Sound Quality) is a system that can't play loud. Stock system also can't play loud but that's far from a real SQ system. So what is Sound Quality? SQ is that aspect of a sound system, which encompasses all of the performance factors which give the system the ability to re-produce an accurate and life-like rendition of the original recording as perfectly as possible. It includes factors such as tonality, ambience, subtle nuance, system gain structure, dynamics,transient response, and the list goes on and on.
SQ is a combination of all these technical factors as well as proper
speaker placement and proper system design. When a system is said to have perfect SQ, it generates the most accurate sound possible, with a sense of musical realism that gives the listener the impression that they "hear" a live performance right in front of them, as if the listener was in the audience watching the actual performers on an actual stage. Now, to get this realistic musical "sound stage" in a car, it takes careful system planning, speaker placement, and tuning.

i think active sound more clearer compare to my passive setup skrang ni.. tp sedap juga pakai passive tu,tgh run in.. mahu mod tu passive nanti,semi active,masuk midrange

Hehe lama nda komen2 ni, both passive n active ada pro n cons bah, dua2 pun syok..kalau mau level tengah2 msti main active 2 way la aku rasa

syok pkai passive kn thick mids, midbass power. npa rsa tdk clear tu sbb tweeter tdk tlmpau bright + thick mids. hehe

btw boring2 aku pasang balik tweeter pod lama. nda tahan teda tweeter.hehe tpi aku psang juga passive mu rudy.puas hati la midbass.hehe jumaat aku singgah papar la.macam?mna mo jumpa?tmpt ahmau?

Hehe passive kalau yg biasa2 memang tdk brapala, imaging pun d bwh ja, kalau yg advance baru syok, ala2 active tp bunyi tdk digital btl..bah singgah ja aku masi icelass, hehe

btw helix A4 85RMS X 4 vs bridge mode 330RMS X 2 punya syok klau karan kuat.midbass punch pun syok.hoho even sub punya bunyi masih boleh terasa...

arap2 tu VGA tdk mengecewakan sya la.huhu

180W kira ok la klau banding 85watt. lebih half power owh

Hehe lama2 ko pndai trasa nda syok tu kalau over powered..macam bnafas smpai d hidung,try la kurang 20w atau sama dari rated speaker rms..ada beza tu..lebih natural bass mu banding over powered, bass kuatla tp bunyi stress, takut power yg lebih tu transfered jd heat ja..bahaya tuk kesihatan voice coil hehe

Amd- mundorf? Mksud ko passive? Tedala, mksudku passive yg ada advanced config ja

aku rsa la kn.contoh klau 85watt myb gain jam 9 , gain HU -5db. bila bridge 300watt gain min, gain HU -10db. kekuatan bunyi tiada beza sngat tu.tpi untuk bunyi yg perlu power power lebih macam bass dia tarik lebih tu.

power yg lebih tu transfered jd heat ja? only apply for passive kah tu ? ko ada naik gain kah final dekat tu amp if bridge mode?

nope.tdk kasi naik suda tu gain pas bridge.set paling min.even gain HU pn lower dari gain main active.hehe mksud si power klau speaker kena overpower.tpi balik pegi first lesson kita blajar psal amp and gain.more power means kena la gain balancing balik kn.hehe myb sblum ni tdk ckup power kita adjust smpai b4 amp clip.klau amp power means adjust b4 the speaker clip la.klau speaker ta dpt tampung tu extra power means cliping.jdi tu power kena transfer jdi heat la.nda lama voice coil pn angus.

Tula sioknya kalau active hu, kalau power lebih smpai vol naik boleh kc turun lg d hu. Kalau passive mau set bli yg ngam2 ja..masing2 ada pro n cons la... Oh kalau tuk equipmnt dlm kereta ku skrg memang tdk sdap kalau lebih, sbb speaker ku rms kecil, kc power sikit ja pun suda dia bg yg optimum performance..na apa lg kalau 200rms trus stress hehe..Aku punya sub la best, ko bg ja 1 ch punya power dari tu dual mono amp.. Sama suda powernya hehe

siapa suda dgr sound dyn? Klau ada rzeki lebih nanti mau cari speaker yg less analytical la, aku mau yg fun n kurang fatigue.. Scans aku tdk tahan suda tuk umur2 skrg ni hehe
