What is SQ?

There's a misunderstanding that SQ(Sound Quality) is a system that can't play loud. Stock system also can't play loud but that's far from a real SQ system. So what is Sound Quality? SQ is that aspect of a sound system, which encompasses all of the performance factors which give the system the ability to re-produce an accurate and life-like rendition of the original recording as perfectly as possible. It includes factors such as tonality, ambience, subtle nuance, system gain structure, dynamics,transient response, and the list goes on and on.
SQ is a combination of all these technical factors as well as proper
speaker placement and proper system design. When a system is said to have perfect SQ, it generates the most accurate sound possible, with a sense of musical realism that gives the listener the impression that they "hear" a live performance right in front of them, as if the listener was in the audience watching the actual performers on an actual stage. Now, to get this realistic musical "sound stage" in a car, it takes careful system planning, speaker placement, and tuning.

dls nordica midbass memang weak kah? macam tidak kuat tu midbass

amdhunter..sy tdk pernah pakai model nordica la..yg pernah sy pakai ni ultimate ref,iridium, ref & currently gothia...sy rasa ok jak midbass dia tu..cuma mesti mo bg cukup makan & damping lah..Sy rasa DLS punya speaker antara yg paling kuat dia punya midbass..sy pernah dgr yg subless tp bunyi macam ada sub 10 inch di dash... but maybe i'm a bit bias lah sbb mmg saya ni pakai DLS hahaha..nda tau lah tukar yg lain last2 pakai dls juga balik...

i see.. but price DLS boleh tahan ooo hahaha.. btw,im using domi CFS3 now hopefully will get another zapco this week

ya Amdhunter ..but still cheap compare to other highend brands mungkin juga sbb kta dkt dengan Taiwan kan jd ada murah sikit lah....Tp ada juga yg 2nd hand bah...Domination pun ok bah...i heard 1 install in a Toyota fortuna...dont know where he bought cause d sabah susah mo cari...what is ur current setup ah & apa kereta?

ha.haha..sy main 3 way active setup.. dulu main rojak helix,alpine,db drive.. skrg all DlS setup cuma skrg subless blom ada masa mo buat sub...napa ko tukar main passive?Sy dulu main passive..bg sy susah mo tune kalau yg advance setup lah lg sy tdk pandai, tu cable2 Rca,speaker pun mesti mo yg quality punya...sy cuba blajar main active stakat ni oklh rasa puas hati cuma mo byk lg blajr mo tunning. Mana ko beli domi tu?Brapa cost ?

final: tu taste dulu2 bah, skrg taste org tua2 suda aku ni, telinga pun nda analytical udah hehe,

Power: main tunning terbalik mcmana tu? kalau ko suda tua sy lg rasa tua sikit la ...masih Subless ka?

zen: 8inch kn...wat do u expect?lower extension macam 12"...hehe suda sumbat polyfill bnyak2 dlm tu?

power: ya mesti mau ada year end TT.hehe

hehe..tu bahasa pasar bah tu, terbalik peranan speaker bah, cth. midbass main low freq 50hz, sub main sampai 80hz tuk cover bunyi yg kosong tu..kalau speaker lain ada yg bleh wat cara ni ada yg nda bleh..hehehe.aku tu trip2 tua bah tu bro...ya masih subless lg, tp semua barang suda ada tinggal pasang ja..esok pagi pg terminal bas ambil HU lain kirim dari twu, baru mau start projek terbengkalai ni.

final: sure can 8" even 6", tp msti 2 biji n ported..tula alang2 pkai sebiji 10' atau 12' lg jimat hehe..

Final: btul tu tp dia ada kick lah but not as good as a ten inch...hehehe sy sumbat polyfill 100% ...ko pakai HXD2 ka final?
Power: tdk pernah pula sy try tune macam tu tau..sounds interesting..ko pernah cuba ka?

power: klau gtu lain crita la.12" pn jadi macam 15" klau ported...hehe tpi ported mau space besar lgi. tpi ada ba 1 bnda yg letak d lubang box.lebi kurang ported tpi controlled.

zen: sya pkai pioneer suda.suda let go D2 sa...huhu

Final: sy pakai HXD2 bah skrg sblm tu alpine 9887...lama ko pakai tu HXD2 kan? ..apa combination 5 band eq yg ko pakai dulu? ingat lg kah? eg.Band 1 apa FQ,Q brapa?

ta ingat suda owh.sya cuma ingat kasi naik area 80hz (lower Q) dn cut 3Khz (larger Q) sbb msa tu nda pass tune xover.lepas suda balik2 pegi TT, CK dn power tolong tune teda suda pkai EQ.flat sja.

Owh..sy pun masih xperiment lg ni....mesti mo g TT juga..baru dpt 2nd opinion...ya sy tengok yg tune pakai rta byk potong FQ drpd naik kalau naik pun + 1.5-2.0db jak..

tune pkai RTA...hebat...hehe klau sya yg penting sedap d telinga sendiri ckup la.mungkin si power bleh tolong.tpi dia nda brapa familiar D2.susa skit mau tune.

last time npa sya boost 80hz sbb door panel blum bikin. jdi punch sngat kurang.msa tu pkai 15W. 3Khz cut sbb nda pndai tune.jdi bising sa rsa...hehe

telinga bah yg penting..tp bg yg pro tu dorg dgr pakai rta..he.he.he ..ya ada juga sy dgr sistem dia tempoh hari...bleh tahan juga bunyi dia..atleast lg sedap daripada sy punya lah..he.he.he..passive pula tu..

telinga mesti mau tajam la.klau sya pn tune paling fail...hehe 3 way lagi la...hehe ndatau la macam mna nnti ni

ko main 3 way juga kah final? mmg pening senang lg main 2way...ha.haha..

Wah memuji ni bahaya ni hehe nanti sa blanja minum2 a kekekeke...tu masa main active dulu bah tu zenden, antam2 ja bukan sdap pun kalau ingat balik..skrg main passive kurang suda rasa berat d kepala tu memikir mau tune macam mana hehe..ada duit nanti mau tambah eq.. Ya btl ko ckp tu, org tune eq banyak potong dari boost..

Kita punya projek memfiber ni ntah bleh start ni final, huhu masaku banyak lari pg anak2 suda, dpt rehat masa dorang tdur ja huhu, baru rehat, mau cari motivasi pg buat sound satu hal lagi..

ha.ha.ha bleh bah kak nong lah nanti...apa yg mo di fiber?kedang pernah juga sy tfikir macam ko mo back to basic ice ..tp suda telajak perahu..dash pun suda kasi lubang go ahead jak lah....
