On March 23, 2001 the largest kimono in the world was created as part of the National
Kimono Festival in Cho Kagoshima City, Japan. The giant kimono was 11.72 m (35.4 ft)wide,
12.80 m (41.9 ft) high and weighed 100 kg (220.4 lbs).
