Indian billionaire Dr. Vijay Mallya (Chairman and CEO of The United Breweries
Group) membeli dari Team Spyker.

Colin Kolles ialah team principal, Michiel Mol ialah director and Mike Gascoyne Chief Technology Officer. Force india menggunakan Chasis Spyker F8-Vll dan Engine Ferrari. Bagaimanapun, force india akan berusaha membuat chasis mereka sendiri.

1st Driver nya ialah Adrian Sutil (ada khabar angin yg Sutil akan dijual ke Mclaren, Williams and Toyota). Manakalah 2nd driver belum lagi ditentukan, calonnya ialah Narain Karthikeyan, Karun Chandok, Vitantonio Liuzzi, Christian Klein, Ralf Schumacher, Giedo van der Garde, dan Roldan Rodriguez.
