What is SQ?
There's a misunderstanding that SQ(Sound Quality) is a system that can't play loud. Stock system also can't play loud but that's far from a real SQ system. So what is Sound Quality? SQ is that aspect of a sound system, which
encompasses all of the performance factors which give the system the
ability to re-produce an accurate and life-like rendition of the
original recording as perfectly as possible. It includes factors such
as tonality, ambience, subtle nuance, system gain structure, dynamics,
transient response, and the list goes on and on. SQ is a combination of
all these technical factors as well as proper speaker placement and
proper system design. When a system is said to have perfect SQ, it
generates the most accurate sound possible, with a sense of musical
realism that gives the listener the impression that they "hear" a
live performance right in front of them, as if the listener was in the
audience watching the actual performers on an actual stage. Now, to get
this realistic musical "sound stage" in a car, it takes careful
system planning, speaker placement, and tuning.

x-over masih gagal smpai skrg.sa rsa cam makin bidak sja...pa mksud kasi ngam midbass? kasi contoh dlu

CK ur parents dua2 ckgu?wah...anak ckgu jdi doctor owh...mantap habis...hehe

phasing tu 0-180 ba, x-over means jgn overlap freq. like sub 80Hz LPF, Mid HPF 80 ke atas. depends oso on ur mid response. i use my ear to tune, no definite rules on numbers. think the problem now is ur speaker can't produce all the freq since it's stock standard.
my mom cikgu kat penampang sana, dad engineer. pasal doctor ni masih ada 2nd thought. terlalu susah tu kerja, gaji rendah, no public holidays for doctors, tau? semua mesti apply leave punya. bila on call(night shift), kerja 36 hours non stop, mataiii...

oh kc ngam ngan midbass tu dari segi tonality & level bass utk membentuk kesepaduan..cuba main slope tuk LPF ngan mid LPF...rasa macam teda woofer ja tu kalau suda gabung..cuba ko test lagu hotel california..selepas intro gitar tu ada bunyi macam bongo tu..kalau bass nya berdentum kuat n terasa dari sub..mksudnya ko kena adjust lg tu..anggap subwoofer tu macam filler ja supaya sound jd penuh n ngam2 ja..

aku dgr system c ah seng...sedap eh bassnya..terasa d jantung tp ngam2 ja, tidak kuat n tidak kosong..tidak smpai tahap SQL...aku suka g2..tp dia pakai yg lauya2 ja bilangnya cuma hu pkai p90..smua masanya tuk ice suda bg sama customer n lg sedap2 soundnya, tuk kereta sndiri lum ada masa lg...hehe kesian dia menikmati SQ di kereta customer ja.

ya la ck..sbb cikgu2 la yg paling banyak masa free bbanding ngan kerja lain, tula bleh main ICE.. hehe...love my job

mestilah pakai distro block, kalau tidak pokai oh. tu tengok juga application, kalau SPL, mmg mo direct pergi amp. we calculate using the total ampere value(tengok fuse) of the amps. using a 0Ga cable can supply up to 250A, 2Ga 120A, 4Ga 80A, 8Ga 40A and so on. correct me if i'm wrong, there's a table on it. and oso distance of the cable and wiring method(parellel or series) oso plays a role. there's a formula to calculate on the total current draw given the amp rms power at given ohm. i plan to use a 0Ga, and distribute to 2 4Ga for sub & midbass and 4 8Ga for the 2 TA2. sistem yg ko dengar hari tu, 1 4Ga to the trunk then distributed to the 2 amps with 4Ga oso.

when selecting amp, well... can't tell much on the papers except for the current draw, idle current, damping factor and so on. for sub and midbass, we usually select one with a better damping factor, it means how gud it can control the movement of the cone. too much of it oso not gud as it will make the bass sound too tight. again here depends on application as well. amp for midrange and tweeter, power doesn't play much of a role here anymore, most importantly is the topography of the amp and the components which the amp made up of, i.e. op-amps, power supply, capacitor and so on. different combination of those give diff kind of sound reproduction. so it's up to individual here. no amp is the best, just pick the one that sounds the best to u, or nearest to ur expectation of sound reproduction by reading reviews.

owh...so basically we need to listen to how the amp drive the speaker lah?huhu tats quite hard since we cant test the amp...

distro block tak mahal sangat la, less than rm100 usually depending on brands and total outputs and materials. kalau u mau 4Ga, mau ambil yg betul betul 4Ga punya, ada yg insulation dia tebal tapi isi tak cukup. ko pergi knukonceptz.com sana beli la, di ebay pun ada dia punya store, lebih kurang 1 bulan sampai, actually 10 hari dah sampai, cuma mau lepas kastam lambat sikit. aku beli dia punya RCA, ok juga tu, for entry to mid end system mmg ngam la. tiada kena tax. kalau mau beli dia punya power cable, beli yg pure copper tu, dia ada 2 jenis, 1 pure dan 1 tinned copper.
kalau u main 2 amp saja, shud be enuf 4Ga, to ensure a more stable power supply, mo angkat battery macam kinetik or optima. normal battery lambat dia discharge.

lebih baik confirm tu underseat boleh muat atau tidak, kalau beli suda wire tak boleh tarik sampai belakang sudah. kan ko kata mo tukar amp lagi.
aku beli 2 set RCA, 1 2ch 6m and 1 4ch 6m. actually 4.5m boleh sampai suda tapi aku takut ba. cost me rm250 or so including shipping. shipping tak mahal sangat kalau beli beberapa barang in 1 go. ebay tak tipu punya, no worries.

aku beli yg krystal series tu. boleh tahan. ada improvement berbanding cap ayam dan paling penting tak mahal sangat.

2 la mo kasi cukup dlu suma brg2 bru kasi buat rewiring...hehe
skrg ni boleh muat...tpi taktau klo lain amp boleh atau tdk.huhu front seat memang tak boleh letak amp.ta muat.rear sja ada compartment.

hi all...wah jauh suda perbincancan kamu ni...just want to share...kemarin aku carry out auto TA/EQ (saja ja mau test) via it's supplied mic...the first result was not really ok..i repositioned the seat, then carry auto TA/EQ again...the result was good...! i said "s**t, this computer beat my ear, i hate this, but i have to admit there's improvment on the sound where the music has the openness im looking for..and more2 balanced especially the TA (i appreciate for the auto TA thing only)

the eq setting is the same with mine which is flat, but auto ta/eq process change the crossover setting and TA only...

....Im going to use these setting as a reference only n from that point i will tweak those parameters for my own signature sound...

haha..i hate computers when they beat me up (including playing computer games lol)
