What is SQ?
There's a misunderstanding that SQ(Sound Quality) is a system that can't play loud. Stock system also can't play loud but that's far from a real SQ system. So what is Sound Quality? SQ is that aspect of a sound system, which
encompasses all of the performance factors which give the system the
ability to re-produce an accurate and life-like rendition of the
original recording as perfectly as possible. It includes factors such
as tonality, ambience, subtle nuance, system gain structure, dynamics,
transient response, and the list goes on and on. SQ is a combination of
all these technical factors as well as proper speaker placement and
proper system design. When a system is said to have perfect SQ, it
generates the most accurate sound possible, with a sense of musical
realism that gives the listener the impression that they "hear" a
live performance right in front of them, as if the listener was in the
audience watching the actual performers on an actual stage. Now, to get
this realistic musical "sound stage" in a car, it takes careful
system planning, speaker placement, and tuning.

juz put onli la, u dun have to buy straight away, slowly see which offer u have by the time u got the money. but MP7 is gud la, after dat u need a nice amp to pump it and have fun. dun forget cable oso, hehe. vifa i think can't compare with MP7. make sure u ask if vickyz have the woofer grille, it's 7" like the scanspeak, very to find cover one. get some photo from him, i reckon ur future MP7 will outperform my morel + F#1 mid if u tuned it correctly. and maybe it's the first MP7 in Sabah since KK dun have MP dealer yet.

si andrew ni, intro org benda yg kaw kaw, tapi barang sendiri simpan saja. MP7 2 way cukup la, tidak alang2 juga tu, paling penting mid mesti instal baik baik, best with angle.

kalau compare 2 mp7 dngn scanspeak classic 60000 + revelator 15W?

nda bah....sa ni sudah berpengalaman...pasal ICE ni...kalau boleh jgn beli alang2....buang duit ja tu balik2 upgrade...kita ni bukan org kaya....biar lambat asal puas....dengarlah nasihat sa finalazy...sekali arung urg bilang.....kalau ko ada MP7 kasih pasang ama tu Tru Tech tube amp....menangis ko dalam kereta kalau dengar lagu2 yang jiwang.....lepas tu ko tia akan mo upgrade2 lagi sampai bila2...believe me....that will be the end of ur ICE journey...ohhh jgn lupa kasih pasang sama MX5000....MX5000 tu tada apa mo tune.....tu MP7 sudah come with passive....U dont need tu tune anything....but anytime u can beat CK's setup yang kena tune mati2....

Semua benda tu c Vickyz ada jual sekarang.....cuma dia punya MP7 2 ways ja lah....ingat dalam ICE org miskin macam kita....kesabaran adalah segala-galanya...biar gigit jari asal jgn upgrade2....jadikan itu motto...

Dalam RM13K ko sudah boleh dpt full system yg sa jamin ko x akan upgrade sampai bila....

Ko tgk sekarang...dalam dua bulan ko sudah mampu kumpul RM2k....

ko kiralah kalau setahun berapa ko boleh kumpul? kalau dua tahun berapa? So sabar...jgn kelam kabut....guna ja tu 9887 n stock HU ko now...dengar nasihat sa...sa ni dari umur 10 tahun udah main ICE tau....

kalau mau compare macam ni, MP lebih baik sebab mid dia lebih sesuai utk main di pintu, kalau 15W perlu buat enclosure for optimum performance. tu MP7 punya mid tarik sampai 2kHz very linear, lepas tu sikit drop sampai 4-5kHz. both tweeter oso can play from 2.5kHz onwards without problem. my pick would be MP7 for better mid bass performance.

suda. mesti waras bila beli ICE, hehe. aku rasa angkat tu MP7 tak payah
upgrade sudah ba, boleh dengar lama2, maybe HU saja yg upgrade. final
suda kuat ni, dari stock terus masuk hi end sudah.

ko baca bagus2 apa sa ckp tu CK....sa tau pasal SQ ni...once u started u will never stop untill u reach the end of ur ICE journey....or untill u got no more money or untill u got some new hobby which is much interesting than ICE....

So...im telling him to be patient and save till he can afford....once and for all....now my estimate is RM13K...

But if he keep on upgrading it will shoots to RM50k in no time....

so in the long run...what im suggesting is still better....

But then it all depend on how good we are in taming out lust and desire for ICE

ask final gigit jari saja sama hi end too. everyone has their own perception of SQ. if ur ear can't differentiate a 100k system and a 10k system, then it will be worthless to invest that much. dats why i suggest him to play hi end enuf d, no need top end. u suggested onli HU, amp and comp, he needs a sub and monoblock somemore, and dun forget cable as well. minimum 20-30k on the whole package. i think he rather use it for kahwin, haha. i dunno abt u guys, but if i have 20-30k in hand, i would think twice to invest all of it in ICE, maybe can use it as downpayment for a new car or house. everyone has their own requirement in life. like andrew can gigit jari any time and for a long time. not many can do dat. altho i do agree ICE is a neva ending journey but i believe there's a limit too. not everyone can afford F#1 + mundorf supreme and meters of hi end cables. hehe. up to him to choose which path to carry on la. we r here to give suggestion onli.

hahaha....just buy it or u'll loose it....i would spend 30k more (if i can afford it)to buy ICE stuffs to satisfy myself n to make others bite their fingers n shut their mouth up..no more say this n that, which is better which is not..

decision is in your hands...but largely depends on ur money too haha..

to final...do ur research on those stuffs..got enough money, u want it, just take it..

Since that MP7 is on the list so u can take it...latter save for MX5k then go for tru tube...waw.....

Btw ck unless u find something to deflect ur ICE hobby mark my words...u will go for more than what you are thinking now...Ive been there....and I know...ive been spending more that what we are talking now...upgrading and upgrading...when I look back...the advice im giving now is my conclusion...if u still wanna go the same way...then good luck.....

The only way you can tame your ICE desire is to have no money...since you are going to be a Doctor...hahaha...good luck....
