itu 2 biji dan sealed box(dibuat oleh creator sound guna MDF) untuknya saja rm300, tu box aku buat pun sudah rm250. amp aku ada absolute(USA) 4ch. beli di creator sound tu, aku beli seribu lebih, mau jual rm500. lebih daripada 4x100W rms tu. ngam untuk SPL. kita boleh arrange appointment, ko cuba dengar dulu la.

OK mau tanya OTAI2 sound semua lagi k....pasal box utk woofer tu...ada berapa jenis ah??ada yg sealed box la, ported box la...mcm2 la...aku nda dapat beza box2 ni semua coz aku lum perna npk lagi...maybe perna npk la but x tau nama dia...ada satu box woofer my friend yg berbentuk 4 segi, den mcm ada lubang angin berdekatan woofer tu...pa jenis tu ah???cuba xplain sikit Bro2 sound kita sama2 blajar...

box tu tak tengok shape dia tu. ada 3 jenis box, 1. sealed box, ni yg tiada lubang. 2. ported box, ni ada lubang. 3. bandpass, ni gabungan kedua-dua di atas. boleh kamu search di google atau youtube. kalau mau tanya apa bezanya tiga jenis box ni, jawapan ialah, semua woofer tak sama, box dibuat ikut spec woofer tu.

mau tengok spec woofer tu, mcm FS, Qts, Qas, Vas dan lain lain. ada formula untuk kira ni. tapi i tak ingat la. actually there's one more kind of sub, it's call free air, means no need to use box. most woofers can be used in all the mentioned boxes, but they will have different effect depending on the frequency tuned to it and different requirement for volume of the box. if u dwell along long enough, u will realize ppl saying sealed box tuned @ 40Hz, or Ported box tuned @ 25Hz, the bass will have a certain lvl of boost according to the frequency tuned. of all the boxes, bandpass is the hardest to build and require lotsa calculation and big space/volume for it.

ufffff.....very technicall 1...but im kinda get it ...just need to see which one is sealed, which one is ported etc....free air subs??no box so dimana kena letak tu??instal it like mid speaker at the front door?

The type of bass you get from your component subwoofer doesn't depend on the woofer alone. You'll need a strong, tightly-constructed enclosure for optimum subwoofer performance. Speakers without an enclosure can't deliver full bass because the sound from the back of the speaker can cancel out some low frequencies emanating from the front of the speaker.

Different types of boxes will produce different types of bass:

Sealed boxes: For deep, precise bass
A sealed box is an airtight enclosure housing your subwoofer. A sealed box is best for any music that demands tight, accurate bass. Expect flat response (not excessively boomy), deep bass extension, and excellent power handling. Since a sealed enclosure tends to require more power than a ported box, use an amplifier with ample wattage for optimum performance.

Ported boxes: For forceful bass
Ported boxes use a vent (called a port) to reinforce low bass response. You get more output than you would from a sealed box at any given amplifier wattage. Some people prefer the sound of ported boxes for rock, heavy metal, or any hard-driving music. Ported boxes can deliver deeper bass than sealed boxes, though they need to be much larger than sealed enclosures to accomplish that.

Bandpass boxes: Maximum slam
Bandpass boxes are a special type of ported box designed for maximum slam. The woofer is mounted inside a dual-chambered box (one chamber sealed, the other ported), with the sound waves emerging from the ported side. The sound that comes out of the port is extra loud within a narrow frequency range.

Because bandpass boxes are super efficient within that range, they tend to boom. Their aggressive sound is great for rap, reggae, and hard rock. Not all subwoofers work well in bandpass boxes, though; consult our product information or call one of our Advisors to be sure.

Free-air subwoofers
A free-air system consists of woofers mounted to a board attached to the rear deck or placed in the trunk against the rear seat. The trunk of the car acts as an enclosure which houses the subwoofer and isolates sound from the back of the speaker, solving the sound cancellation problem of subs without an enclosure.

Free-air systems save space and have flat frequency response. The woofer must be specifically designed for free-air use. The lack of a box makes them more convenient to install, but their power handling levels are usually much lower than their boxed counterparts.

bandpass = satu box diletak dalam satu box lain yg ade lubang..
free air = x guna box
ultimate baffle = bonet keta berfungsi sebagai box..lebih kurang free air..

UB (ultimate baffle)=jimat ruang n bunyi bole tahan le (cam sealed box yg besar), tapi kurang efisien, bunyi selalu kurang tepat n kuasa yg dikeluarkan lemah..

SEALED = bunyi cantik (ngam tuk SQ) n kuasa yg dihasilkan lebih baik berbanding UB..kelemahannya cuma kurang kuat psl efiensi kurang sikit..

VENTED = boley pilih/tune untuk jenis bass yg dikehendaki n kuasa yg terhasil tinggi berbanding sealed kalu ngam tune psl efiensi meningkat..cuma masalahnya kalau tune x ngam, bunyi bass jadi x best..

BANDPASS = biasa jenis nie diguna utk pertandingan je..tune spesifik pada jeni bass tertentu saja..mmg kuat kalu bass yg dimain ngam sama tune box..masalahnya susah mau buat n bunyi bass selalu jadi x sedap kalau bass lagu x ngam sama box..lagi subs senang rosak kalau tak pandai bikin box nie..

bass tuk sq bukan semestinya di gegar panjang..bass dia harus tepat je..angin tue pula sebenarnya cam satu suspension je utk kawal gerakan subwoofer..
utk sealed box..tekanan angin dlmnya mantain..so bass yg dihasilkan lebih accurate..cuma kurang kuat berbanding yg ade lubang punya..
tuk vented pula..wlupun angin keluar kalu pakai vented box, dlm box masih ade pressure tue..cuma kurang berbanding sealed punya..cone dapat bergerak lebih so bunyi tambah kuat..cuma kena ngam, kalu tak gerakan subwoofer jadi tidak terkawal n bunyi hambur..lagi dari lubang tue ade keluar bunyi juga n kalu ngam tune..bunyi keseluruhan tambah kuat lg..
tue simple konsep yg i tau lar..detailnye susah mo terangkan sini..
