emm,u try first to pasang the rim n tyar..then u can check whether trlmpau tnggi or not..if u see its too high thn u change to sport low spring or cut the ory spring..

The best thing to do is to buy lowering spring. ..if u cut ur spring,ur alignment will go wrong and the spring will become more hard..making ur ride unpleasantly bad.

just make sure u getting rims wif correct offset or u might end up hiting ur fender cos the tyre is to outwards. too inner u might hit the spring or hit the inner part of the car body wen make a U turn

best is try to ask the tauke,explain him what u wanna do with ur ride..they'll know what to do...btw if ur rim cannot fit very well,dun do chasis/bodykit modification..cos when JPJ caught u at road blocks..u will get a ticket or tickets.Cos they're certain cases tht owner dun wanna accept the reality..that their car cannot be fitted with certain rims eventho' the rims look nice.

paling penting tgk size rim,PCD rim and Offset rim.tayar blkng kira...harga tayar ikut harga size and brand.kalau boleh trade in jak rim original ko.ehem satu lagi kan.kalau ko tukar size tyr.beli la satu rim besi saiz sport rim ko..utk spare tyre.kalau nda nangis la if pancit tyr time d jln raya.

the important things tht u ought to know b4 buying a rim are,rim size,PCD and offset of the rim.The price of tyres depends on the size and brand.If possible trade-in ur original rim cos to cut the will be sport rim price.Ehem,and one more thing if u ever buy a sport rim,dun forget to buy one standard rim as a spare tyre.If u dun buy any,u would b crying afterwards if u hv a puncture on the road.

erm..actually this is a goood post considering that i'm actually looking for suitable rim fo viva also.. that is a 15" rim right..? i've seen a viva park just beside me one day and using the 15" rim and it's look very nice..the tyre come off the body just a little bit..the size 175/50/15..i dunno whether it USE a SPACER or not considering the offset almost 6" erm... .but nonetheless u CAN use the 15" rim just remember the offset not wider than 175 mayb..or you will "SAGAT" the absorber with ur rim la..haha...

i also using viva. there shouldn't be a prob by using this setup. currently using 7jj n et44 n not using spacer. the cons? hitting fender. hehehe. so 6.5jj et38 should be ok..

boi...kindly translate the "6.5jj et38" is it 195 ,185 or 175: eg: 175/50/15...not very familiar with the inch" calculation..hehe...

aiya.. quite difficult to translate. ehhehe.. 6.5jj is the diameter rite. usually it can fit from 165 to 195 tire (no fix no). et38 is the offset. the more the number, the more it will move out from the fender. Vise versa. the +ve, it will not hit the spring inside. for viva et38 is ok.

in using et44 cos 7jj. it will hit the spring if et38. so got to move out. the bad side is got to knock the fender.
