Apa itu RAKAN COP

RAKAN COP (Community Oriented Policing) adalah bererti rakan Polis.Ia merupakan wadah bagi merealisasikan hasrat untuk menjalin hubungan yang kukuh antara polis dan masyarakat bagi mewujudkan Bandar Selamat dengan slogan ''Bersama Memerang Jenayah".Maklumat boleh disalurkan kepada Pusat Kawalan Polis (CCC) yg beroperasi 24 jam melaliu perkhidmatan telefon ( Hotline,SMS dan MMS) dan komputer ( e-mail dan website) Sehubungan itu,maklumat mengenai kemalangan jalan raya,kesalahan lalulintas atau kesesakan lalulintas juga boleh disalurkan kepada Pusat Kawalan Polis.

BAGAIMANA CARA MENGHANTAR MAKLUMAT MELALUI SMS
Contoh - bagi KL
Taip : POLISKL <jarak> taip maklumat hantar ke 32728 (DAPAT)
(Bagi negeri-negeri lain.taip huruf ringkas negeri berkenaan selepas POLIS diikuti dengan maklumat.
