What is SQ?
There's a misunderstanding that SQ(Sound Quality) is a system that can't play loud. Stock system also can't play loud but that's far from a real SQ system. So what is Sound Quality? SQ is that aspect of a sound system, which
encompasses all of the performance factors which give the system the
ability to re-produce an accurate and life-like rendition of the
original recording as perfectly as possible. It includes factors such
as tonality, ambience, subtle nuance, system gain structure, dynamics,
transient response, and the list goes on and on. SQ is a combination of
all these technical factors as well as proper speaker placement and
proper system design. When a system is said to have perfect SQ, it
generates the most accurate sound possible, with a sense of musical
realism that gives the listener the impression that they "hear" a
live performance right in front of them, as if the listener was in the
audience watching the actual performers on an actual stage. Now, to get
this realistic musical "sound stage" in a car, it takes careful
system planning, speaker placement, and tuning.

untuk range arga lebih kurang 2K apa comp spker yg ok?buli kasi rekomend? 2nd pnya ka...

Rata-rata yang saya dangar Sound HQ semua bikin sakit telinga, adakah speakar mid mau guna 4ohm,tweater 16000khz. kalau beli speakar mid beli yang 8ohm @ 16ohm sebab semua muzik keluar tidak payah tweater. Guna dolby surround system 6 channel L/R Centre L/surround-R/surround dan LFE Audio format pcm@AC3 bukan wav@mp3, baru di katakan SHQ dan kalau mau sangat jadi juara no;1 beli speaker 18' ubah suai coil ke 4 coil sebab semua muzik sapu rata contoh, hiphop-disco-pop-rock-ballad dan banyak lagi semua bass berbiza itulah sebab susah mo set. okeylah saya ni sudah berpangalaman 20 tahun, jadi itulah hasilnya kalau cakap pasal duit tak payah cakap sampai sekarang belum khwin kerna gila sound...ha...ha..ha..okeylah geng saya sokong remaja terjabak audio bukan dadah, satu malaysia satu jiwa satu bass.

klo speaker mid 2 memang 4 ohm macam mna mo kasi kurang?macam focal 165KRX2 main 2 ohm tu.lagi la kurang dari 4 ohm.

ylor powerrud.kin takut arga 2 scanspeak.tpi klo dngar d youtube cam lebih kurang bunyi 2 morel dngn 2 scanspeak...haha 2 hertz mile pn syok bunyi dia.

final, 2k banyak choice sangat, especially 2nd hand. kan baru2 ni ada scanspeak jual 1600 saja. kalau betul2 minat scanspeak, simpan cukup duit, di singapore quite often ada 2nd hand punya. audit-mengaudit sangat poisonous, sekali terdengar 'the one', habis la, tak dpt tidur tu. hehe.

rinear, aku tak berapa faham HQ dan SHQ, boleh explain sikit? pasal speaker berapa ohm tak penting. mmg ohm tinggi boleh mengurangkan stress di amp, tapi kebanyakan car audio mmg 4ohm. home audio la ada 8 dan 16ohm. dan ko kata ambil 18" sub dan modify? aku rasa bagaimana modify pun tak secekap 10 atau 12". kita cakap pasal sound quality sini bukan SPL, tak payah guna sampai 18" la.

haha..lex final..tp aku syorkan la ko bli tu scanspeak kalau suda cukup duit nanti..memang bleh pakai lama punya.btl ckp c ck tu, DLS punya mid bass kurang sikit..boleh kalah dengan mid bass JBL GTi...satu lagi tweeter..kalau pasang cd yg bunyi guruh tu..dia ada bunyi subtle crack (bukan macam bunyi tweeter ku yg prob tu, ni dua2 tweeter bunyi g2, maybe because of the soft dome)..i think my previous MB Quart' tweeters are better in term of not producing unwanted sounds..

ya anderw...ramai cni tawau & semporna SQ'ers..many of them not joining forums..(like me b4 hehe, just like to read reviews, emailing, looking at videos, meeting with installers, discussing, auditing other's car)..and some of them are businessman and the rich, they dont have time to chit chat with us..tp forum bahaya oh...boleh ketagih..

HQ = high quality
SHQ = sound high quality

dont question his facts la...bro rinear main sound since he was 10 years old.he is 30 now n said 20 years of exp.and oso has super hearing cos he can hear "16000khz"...

Jangan lupa Vifa...tu adik Scanspeak....nda juga jauh kebolehan dia berbanding scanspeak...malahan highest end dia at 1/3 the price of Scanspeak...kalau on budget Vifa bagus bah....tu XT25 can perform very, very well on axis...harga pun baru RM800 ja dua biji...baru...kalau 2nd hand RM400 pun boleh dpt....

Nda pun try Seaskah pun hebat juga....banyak lagilah jenis driver ni.....jgn kelam kabut...pelan2....

mmglah not as good as scanspeak...ko banding ja bah harga dia...but tune properly it still can sounds good.....apa pun mmg adik scanspeak...dulu alpine F#1 pun guna ni brand bah...sebelum dia tukar pg scanspeaks macam c CK pakai tu.....

Lagi pun since u r on a budget that would be affordable to u.... 3 ways front scanspeak u kena keluar around RM10K...3 ways front Vifa ko kena keluar around RM 2500 ja....jauh beza tu geng....sebab tu ko kena research dulu berabis....sebelum ko decide keluar duit ko...baru nda menyesal n nda payah upgrade2 nanti....

tak payah 3 way dulu ba final. main 2 way dulu sampai ko sudah master tuning dia. aku pun main 2 way, tapi bunyi cantik juga. for 2 way system, the mid is freaking important. transparency is at stake here, haha. aku rasa vifa so so saja. 2k mmg boleh tapau scanspeak 2nd hand sudah. dun worry ba final, 2k can get some really gud stuffs. sebelum beli consult di sini dulu la, jgn kelam kabut beli dulu baru consult, haha. my advice is get the best ur money can buy.

nah, power kan i said, midbass kurang gila, actually the mid is made for sealed enclosure, tapi kita pergi main free air, u see all the competition car dat use nobelium will install it at the dashboard... dats why after 2 yrs of listening, i decided there are more to upgrade, i was oso saying nobelium is the last speaker i gonna buy but... hehe. imho, DLS is overrated. it's gud but quite overpriced.

ok la, i'll try to target scanspeak...tpi ada bnyak range.hhmmm...

ambik mid revelator + tweeter classic, siap sedap tu. banyak org di russia guna combo macam tu. on atau off axis meaning facing towards or away from u. as u know hi freq are very directional, on axis means the tweeter is directly shooting at u, with a little angle is off axis, like the morel in my car is off axis, the previous setup of nobelium is on axis. off axis, we usually state the angle as well, example off axis 30 degrees. or can say the focus point like like shooting towards the cabin lamp.

if u wanna do research this is a very gud site showing which equipment is a better buy, some nice installations and so on. altho in russian, but can use google to translate it. not 100% but at least 70% understandable.

Anyway...harga yg sa bagi ko tadi tu finalazy harga kalau ko beli baru....well, if you are aiming for second hands....mmg lagi banyak yg ko boleh beli...i mean banyak options dia...you can even target for highest end.....

Cuma beli barang 2nd hand ni taulah banyak juga yg menipu...yang ni ikut nasib...biasanya yg kena jual di forum2 tu sebenarnya bukan second hand...ada yg sudah 5th hands pun...hehehe.....

macam c ck dia sudah beli speakers yang sudah berapa hands sudah....then nanti kalau dia jual dia ckp 2nd hand juga...pada hal dia sendiri pun beli 2nd hand juga....and orang tempat dia beli tu pun sebenarnya jual 2nd hands juga...kekekeke............

cuma kalau on budget on that's the only possible way to go....
