What is SQ?
There's a misunderstanding that SQ(Sound Quality) is a system that can't play loud. Stock system also can't play loud but that's far from a real SQ system. So what is Sound Quality? SQ is that aspect of a sound system, which
encompasses all of the performance factors which give the system the
ability to re-produce an accurate and life-like rendition of the
original recording as perfectly as possible. It includes factors such
as tonality, ambience, subtle nuance, system gain structure, dynamics,
transient response, and the list goes on and on. SQ is a combination of
all these technical factors as well as proper speaker placement and
proper system design. When a system is said to have perfect SQ, it
generates the most accurate sound possible, with a sense of musical
realism that gives the listener the impression that they "hear" a
live performance right in front of them, as if the listener was in the
audience watching the actual performers on an actual stage. Now, to get
this realistic musical "sound stage" in a car, it takes careful
system planning, speaker placement, and tuning.

A pillar biasanya 2-3 hari ba. aku punya 1 hari siap but mine not the whole a pillar la. buat macam bolt on tweeter pod aja.

i think audio creation ada juga tu XT25, u tanya dia org la. last yr ada forummer beli dari AC vifa 2way + custom passives = rm1.5k baru punya. boleh ko check di madisound juga utk reference. yg scanspeak series paling rendah tu sebenarnya vifa la. kalau u wan 2nd hand vifa, i think my fren might sell oso.

bila kena tax, i think kena bayar di pos office. biasanya kalau kurang daripada USD100 tak akan tax. boleh suruh seller temberang sikit di invoice.

andrew mo angkat mcintosh yg mana? tak minat sound monitor atau denon ka? aku bertahan sampai tak boleh tahan, besok angkat DEQ-P9, lepas ni bagi mod kaw kaw dia. mulanya planing mo angkat ODR, tapi budget mmg tak sampai...

final, not bad the sound from the video, for stock standard la. kalau mo komen yg tegas sikit, ku rasa bunyi tak cukup precise, attack ada tapi decay lembik, a little muddy too due to stock speaker and no tweeter i guess.

DEQ-P9 ni processor saja, mesti pair sama HU pioneer yg ada optical output macam ODR dan DEX-P9/P90. attack and decay boleh kedengaran di track guitar tu, bila pluck ko dapat rasa, tu attack, decay means the after plucking the string, as it vibrates and slowly wears off, urs wears off too soon and not clear, in other words not extended enuf. muddy means image not stable. not clear covers a lot of aspect, all those terms are just meant to be precise on which part is right or wrong.
mmg aku plan ni system 3 way. install di kereta lain. suma high high punya barang taruh sekali. rojak brand. haha. ada pioneer, eton, DLS, scanspeak, F#1, soundstream, stinger dan lain2. ni pasang after i dapat gaji la, mmg installation pun mahal, semua duit habis di hardware sudah.

that tweeter is supremo picollo. newer but 1 series lower than my supremo. difference is the size, it's smaller by 1 inch i think, and handles 200w while mine handles 220w.
as for the attack and decay think, u can try to adjust with EQ around the 3k-5kHz region or try with diff x-over slopes. sometimes it's the amp and speaker. in ur case, i think it's the speaker sebab tiada tweets, not sure bout the amp cos i dunno wat it can really do.
skrg mo beli processor dan modify dulu, lepas ni baru cari HU. HU not very expensive, i think RM1-1.5k boleh dapat sudah.

aku punya yg atas tu la. kalau tu 2nd hand punya, mmg overpriced la. biasanya used onli abt 1k or so. i jual 1.1k utk setengah tahun pun tiada org mau, so i pasang saja la. lol. if u wanna use 1.6k to buy tweeter, mampus la, tu front sppeaker pun sampai 3k la ni, bukan 2k lagi. i suggest u to buy the micro precision 7 series sold by vickyz, the midbass i heard is OEM scanspeak, and MP is famous for SQ as well. of cos u can buy seperate but u must have in mind which combo u r trying to get. if u like to listen to all kinda songs beside rock/metal then scanspeak and morel is a gud choice. juz tell me when ur budget is ready, i will help u keep an eye on the market.

ya la, mo angkat tu P9 combo. skrg angkat processor upgrade dulu, nanti bulan 5 atau 6 angkat HU. going to say bye bye to ODR. terlalu mahal sudah, budget tak simpai walaupun ikat perut 2 bulan, haha. tapi sini P9 mmg lebih murah daripada malaysia, combo saja mo lebih kurang 2.2k, upgrade mo 1.5k. P90 combo pun lebih kurang macam tu kalau di m'saya. u kirim sub mo berapa ni? pos laju ka? aku kirim amp pun mau 90+ sudah.
