hello,
saya nak tanya sikit ah, engin saya ada bunyi macam knocking selepas ganti pipercams dan adjustable cam pulley. bunyi ni hanya ada masa saya tekan minyak atau race engin dalam 2k-3k rpm. kalau engind dah cukup panas, kurang bunyi nya...bunyi lebih ketara time start engin waktu pagi.

adakah ini masalah tuning?. apa tuning yg perlu buat?. ada suggestion ka? tuner yg expert di sekitar kota kinabalu ni?. jan la bah terlampau mahal kan?. kakakaka.

performance mmg caya la...tapi bunyi tu bah kacau. takut ada impact nanti sama engin.(detonation).

tolong nasihat ah?. kereta saya iswara 1.3...

tuning memang kena betul, kalau tidak memang bermasalah. tuning cam pulley ini bukan boleh main tembak, kalau silap nanti valve langgar piston. kalau mahu tepat, dyno sekali.

kalau enjin NA confirm piston timbul so hati2 bila pindah gigi cam pulley tu, pindah 1 atau 2 gigi cukup jgn lebih, knocking terjadi sebab timing x btl atau mgkn pindah gigi cam pulley x btl.

thanks for response. tapi ada tempat di sekitar kota kinabalu orang yg pandai tune ni ah?. kalau saya tune sendiri dapat kah tu?. saya dengar2x tune tu gigi di cam pulley sama di distributor jugak. apa macam mau tahu tu ngam atau tidak? selain jalan dyno.?.

ko kena tau dulu bentuk piston ko macam mana, klu nampak sgt bonjol dia @ tinggi sgt jgn pindah banyak gigi cam pulley nti bercium piston dgn valve wakakakakkaak, so ko tukar saja gigi cam pulley tu ko kena set balik ignition timing ko sebab race cam tu berpusing bila ko pindah gigi so timing kena betulkan balik.

tune sendiri pun boleh, saya punya tune sendiri.
asal pakai adjustable cam pulley ini, timing confirm lari punya. kena pandai2 adjust timing. pakai timing light pun pandai lompat2 indicator dia hahaha. kalau tak dapat dyno, pakai test run. rasa itu kuasa dari rpm bawah ke atas. ingat dulu kuasa sebelum tune, kalau tak puas hati dengan after tune, tune lagi sampai puas hati.

saya nak tahu nak macam mana mau tune tu ah?. kalau saya mahu top speed. middle high atau high end rpm?. apa mau adjust di cam pulley dan distributor?.


tadi pagi saya ada bawa gi workshop. dia check lepas tu ganti tu racing timing belt. baru tiada tu bunyi lagi. tapi lain lagi bunyi yg keluar. kakakak.

biasa kalau mahu top kuat, retard itu setting. mahu pickup kuat, advance setting.

kakakak itu timing tak betul tu, saya punya pun gitu juga kalau hi-rev. tapi masalah saya bukan timing, masalah fuel pump tak cukup kuat.

elo,

baru saja keluar dari bengkel. bunyi "tat tat tat" lagi di bahagian timing belt. kakakaka...tapi bunyi tu bising hanya time engin betul2x panas. kalau baru start tiada bunyi. hairan.

cuba2x rev tadi, naik 5k rpm ringgan lah masih tapi bunyi tu?, makin engin panas, datang lah bunyi tu.

ni setting pada valve mengikut pipercams....

ada gambar lain lagi ka? macam tak complete ni...

22 btdc itu, 22 darjah sebelum piston ke atas. tak pasti apa dia mahu di adjust. kalau kereta biasa untuk ignition timing, 10 degree btdc.

itu lah tu....saya pun tak pasti..kakakak...saya kasi tu mechanic pun cakap ni lain dari lain setting ni....kakakka...saya dapat ni list dari orang yg jual tu pipercams + adjustable cam pulley tu.

besok pagi kena pergi bengkel lagi ni, mahu check apa masalah bunyi tu. hairan. huhuhu....dah bayar rm130.00

haiz...petang tadi pergi ambil kereta saya. tapi bunyi jugak masa engin panas. ni kali dia cakap tu adjustable dah bengkok. dah tukar balik pergi original standard cam pulley. tapi masi jugak bunyi2x.

ni mahu tanya, kalau dah tukar cam pulley tu gi standard balik, drop kah performance dia?. saya call tu mechanic balik, ni kali dia suruh pulak saya bawa tu standard lighten crank pulley. uisehman!...apa dah jadi ni?...bergitu banyak problem ke main ni barang?.

otai! ada recomendation kah mahu pergi workshop mana yg ada pengalaman tentang masalah iswara yg dah tukar racing cam + cam pulley + lighten crank pulley?. sakit kepala saya oh.kakakakka...

lighten crank pulley x banyak beza tapi kalau adj. cam pulley banyak beza sebab benda tu sdhla ringan dan boleh adj. gigi dia sama ada nak advance atau retard, pasal bengkok cam pulley tu x mgknla sebab brg tu sentiasa pusing melainkan ko sendiri yg g bengkok Laughing brg tu x mengsakitkan kepala, brg performance tu, apa2pun g ke kedai yg mahir pasal brg ni.

crank pulley x bnyk beza, yg beza cam pulley sebab dia ringan dan boleh pindah gigi dia sama ada advance atau retard, soal bengkok cam pulley brg tu x akan jadi bengkok melainkan ko yg sendiri g bengkok Laughing, apa pun g kedai mana yg tau bab2 brgni, brg ni x menyakitkan kepala malahan brg performance ini brg Wink

Certainly, most of us have heard the saying, “Timing is
everything”? This is as true when making money in the stock
market as when it comes to making power in your engine. It
doesn’t matter if your stable of horses under your hood is
showroom-stock or after market-modified, but precise cam
timing is the key to maximize your engine performance. A bad
cam timing will inarguably rob you of your precious ponies
no matter what other power-adding gadgets you have put in
place.

Could the cam timing become out of sync, even in a new car?
Unfortunately, the answer is a plain yes. This can happen
because the engine parts are manufactured with certain
tolerances and there is bound to be some run-out in the
assembled engine. Although this kind of variance is
acceptable under engineering specifications, it means that
the engine performance will also vary from one to another.
So, you may get a top performer or you may get a slightly
less than average performer. However, most of the reasons
for inaccurate cam timing are repairs and modifications done
on the engine, for examples, after a cylinder head overhaul
job where the head deck has been skimmed, fitting in an
after-market high performance camshaft, or using a different
thickness head gasket.

How then can we ensure that the engine will perform to its
top form? The replacement of the original cam pulley with an
adjustable one is the simplest way to regain performance.
For fine-tuning the stock camshaft or tuning for performance
modifications, an adjustable cam pulley is the only way to
enable the required adjustment to be made. Apart from
setting the cam timing to the original factory specs to get
optimum engine performance, we can also increase low-end
torque for better throttle response by advancing the cam
timing a few degrees forward. Or we can shift the torque
curve upward for better top-end power by retarding the cam
timing a few degrees back.

With the adjustable cam pulley, we can accurately degree or
dial-in the required cam timing easily, with the right
know-how, of course. Having said that, always engage the
service of professional tuners to set the cam timing with
proper equipment. Doing it “by hand” is nothing more than a
guess work and a wrong setting can ruin the engine. Even a
small movement as “seen by the eye” on the cam pulley can
change the timing by as much as five or six degrees. Too
much advance or retard and the piston will hit the valves.
Be forewarned!

sedih sedih sedih.......pagi ini saya hantar lagi gi workshop tukar tu ligthen crank pulley. tengok kalau2x tidak bunyi itu lagi.

bro, tiada ke orang yg boleh recomend workshop yg expert pasal tuning ni engine...sama fix tu bunyi lah..

ko dah pakai cam regrind perlu dapat kan spec tepet seting..
